Wouldn't it be more likely to tell you time of body disposal versus time of death? I wonder if they can get granular enough to say 6:00 am versus 8:00 am.

But if they can show disposal was more like 3:00, Brad is done. She can't call him to get juice or go jogging if she's already on Fielding Rd. TOD wouldn't be so important.

Larvae there for 72 hours or more.

Now we need to know what time and date they were collected..then it comes down to a mathematical calculation...The data has well documented equations in order to figure it out..:rocker:

Thank you. Yes, you get it. Cancer claims this breed much too often. Absolutely heartbreaking; was inconsolable for months.

I'm sorry. No better dog than a retriever. I put my lab down 2.5 years ago and still can't get another dog. My golden died almost 6 years ago (I can't believe it has been that long) and her ashes still sit on my mantle with her favorite racket ball.

TOD vs body disposal vs Brads timeline.

They better break this down to it's simplest fact and conclude with that. Because no way is anyone (let alone anyone on the jury) going to make heads or tails of this.

Data says eggs occurred 11 am July 11th.

So does that make this wasted testimony since he puts the body dump Friday morning?

I hate to throw in on the dog conversation, but I just gotta... We had a wonderful boxer that succumbed to a cancer tumor the same July as Nancy Cooper died. Actually - our boxer died on July 10 - Nancy that weekend. We had the hardest time with our Roxie's death!! She was ten years old when she passed. So five and a half years later we finally decided to bring another dog/boxer into our lives - and opted for TWO!! We took both boys from a litter and they are four and a half months old now. They are truly a blessing to me and my husband. To have and share that love and devotion again is wonderful!! It was hard to make that leap again, but now that we did - oh my!!! My heart just sings every day!

I agree. We lost our golden to cancer in the fall. It was heartbreaking.

I am so sorry for those of you who have had to deal with the loss of your fur babies. We lost our beloved pug 4 years ago last month to pancreatic cancer. I still tune up and cry when I try to talk about him.
It's never easy.

Im lost July11?

I'm thinking they have to have some other data that refutes that? And they're just beating the defense to the punch on the July 11 time? :waitasec:

Obviously not valid if July 11th.

If I heard correctly, he then adjusted his testimony to say that it's easy to conclude inaccurate data if their research was done in a certain way.

He just backed the larvae up to indicate the body was deceased at 1am on the 12th. If I heard him correctly.

So this means the prosecution is sticking with the midnight--1am theory of strangulation?

Okay. I'm sorry, but they need to not make it obvious that the State told this guy to make the TOD fit a certain window. MOO

I will one day...but putting my lab down was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. But it was only fair to her to do it. When I took her to the vet, I went back with her to do it. She was very scared, but I held her face right in front of mine. Now I've NEVER let this dog lick me in the face. She was the kind that liked to eat horse poop (and occasionally other poop). But I was holder her face talking to her as they started to inject her. At the last moment, she licked my nose twice and then went limp. Of course, I completely lost it at that point (and I'm about to lose it now remembering it).

There ya have it..using that graph and allowing for error rates ..they could now estimate back to 1AM July 12th.....Yikes...I wonder how defense is going to deal with that??..

This goes with my gut feeling, that Nancy was murdered during sleep..then disposed of while the kids slept..and Brad did his HT runs to dispose of items like shoes etal~~

This stuff does show she wasnt alive and running around that morning...

He would have had to kill her and dumped her right away. right?

So happy for you. It's extremely difficult to be without our *best friends*, yet it takes a long time to grieve, and the grief of the loss never goes away. :( Best of luck with your new buddies. :)
