So the computer search was the moment everyone was waiting for? The point that cannot be refuted?

Not the only thing, but it was a biggie.

Oh c'mon. I love the little funnies. They make me smile, LOL, belly laugh. I know some people have email programs that make these funny little people, but I don't. I love 'em here. Breaks the tension IMO.

They can be used properly. I'm referring directly to the people that like to throw those in there when arguing against something a fence sitter said implying that I am stupid for having the opinion that I have.

Interesting that it took you 41 seconds...I wonder if there is 'typical time' when doing a google search like you did kind of built into the program initially and then just as you did...you get better when you knew exactly what to do. Like an average search time .

I was shocked by 41 seconds too (using a timer on my phone). But it took me a few seconds to figure out where I was and then scroll over. Also, I waited until each click refreshed. During my fastest time, I knew exactly where to click on the screen and clicked pretty rapidly. I was just curious how long it would take me to find my house (or another known location).

The key word here is "potential". I don't think they will be calling all 227 witnesses - just the ones that may make the case a bit clearer. I don't anticipate them spending tons of useless time questioning witnesses on irrelevant information, like the prosection did. I see Kurtz and team being very direct and quick. I think watching the defenses's case will be a lot more interesting that the one the prosecution presented.

Kurtz and team spent a great deal of time crossing those witnesses on supposedly irrelevant information and extended the prosecution case well beyond what was expected. Add in all of the, "Judge, I would like to be heard" sending the jury out and it has been a LONG time getting to the defense side of the case. I guess they got their delay after all. MOO

Gotta love the backwards crawl. Several people said if there was a something on Cooper's computer (like showing he looked at the Fielding Dr area) they would believe he committed the murder beyond a reasonable doubt. Not only do they have him looking at that dump site, the FBI showed exactly how he did it (visually) and that it was done the day before the murder/body dump.

And now that this very evidence has been shown, Cooper's visit to it is simply not "long" enough because posters think it should have taken him longer

Yep, only a timestamped video authenticated by the killer, showing the murder and dump itself will be convincing.

I certainly hope you are not referring to me. I think he is guilty at this point. But I'm also open minded enough to see what the defense has on this, just as I was open minded enough when I fell off the fence towards innocence to go back in the other direction.

So it was possible to access the zoomed in info on Brad's computer?

My understanding from people in the courtroom that day, that I have read on other sites, is that in those 41 seconds, he searched on 27518, zoomed in and scrolled around to a few areas, that the Jury only saw the images from Fielding Dr. not the other areas. That the images of Fielding Dr showed no drainage pond , no steets, just some graded areas. We don't the what areas he viewed first, or if Fielding Dr was first or last. We also don't know if he was already zoomed in when he was over Fielding Dr.

And the defense would still be blistering Young if the Judge hadn't finally called an end to it.

We don't know if it can be refuted, Defense can't have the evidence, supposedly it will affect National Security.

I replicated Cooper's search of 27518 and zooming in on the F.D. area in about 30 seconds, maybe a little less. What makes it particularly fast is that the area was under construction and the wishbone shape cut in of the cul de sac was very easy to spot. If you knew enough to glance at it, it was obvious that homes were not there when one zoomed in. The road there was paved but it was otherwise quite secluded back there.

Just wondering, if Brad is convicted, what kind of prison he goes to while the appeal is in process?

Some NC county Men's Correctional Institution -- could be Central Prison in Raleigh or any CI that is set up for whatever Custody Classification (Close, Medium, Minimum, etc.) he is assigned.

41 Seconds is a long time....just let the prosecution Stop and let 41 seconds tick off in silence in the summation.

So much of the presented evidence in the case comes down to seconds....in several phone calls, in reading a map.

Please go to maps.google.com. Start at timer, enter 27518, and see how long it takes you to zoom into the dump site. I just did it three times. The first time took over a minute (I didn't zoom in enough to see the street name so I missed it). The second time took 23 seconds because I knew exactly where I was going on the screen. The third time took about 25 seconds. But do it an honestly report back the amount of time it takes you on your first attempt. He didn't sit there and look at it for 41 seconds. That is the total time of the search if I'm not mistaken.

Welcome back. It's frustrating being put on time-out...there were plenty of things I wanted to comment on that I simply couldn't. Not sure what you did to deserve it, but good to have you back on here.

Welcome back from me too. I noticed some Tweats from you on Friday night, didn't know you were AWOL from here.

For me, it's the point that has not been refuted yet (and probably won't be)...and the point that I personally don't have a logical explanation for.

That wasn't the testimony nor what either Star12 or FullDisclosure reported from witnessing what went on that day. 41 seconds was spent on the typing of 27518, the panning over and the zooming right in to the dump site. Not on anything else.

I did it myself in less than 30 seconds. Zoomed right down to the dump site.

But you have tried it in the past also, correct? So you knew exactly where to go once you oriented yourself. We have not heard of BC having any other searches on it. He also went to more areas than just that, and we don't know what areas he went to first.

Yes! Where in the world were you last Wed. afternoon at 2:30pm when this was introduced? I thought you had pretty much been checking in each day.

That's very kind. I was in TO for 24 hrs (I knew I had been extra snarky and was expecting to be punished) and then went to Charleston. So in that first 24 hrs I thought, let me see, where can I post that is not the dreaded site (starts with a "G")? Ah yes, I can see who else is Tweeting! I kind of was surprised to see they have their own little community of usual posters like we do, and some really wanted a place to talk about it at length. So in a few words I told them about WS, where we are completely obsessed, and what do I see posted on here? That "the Twitterers are sending people here" and I had said WS was completely obsessed. :). I had to chuckle at the assumption, given that "the Twitterers" had just referred to me as "new anonymous tweeter jmflu." It's so easy to jump to conclusions!!

Thanks. I guess he's going to be found guily then, and I guess then there will be an appeal ... and maybe another trial.

Hopefully, FD will respond, just because she didn't post it doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Well that's a little fishy. How can evidence be used against someone but the defendant does not have access to that information?
