She does not look like somebody who is being truthful.
Side Note: Who returns a swimsuit that you have already worn? Gross!
Very true. It's also possible she was going on a shorter run (5 miles or less) and was planning on going to JAs when she got back. So all 3 events are possible (get up, go run, go to JA to pain, be back by 9:30 for BC to play tennis or bring the kids with her). I Since she was just painting, it shouldn't be that big of a deal to do it after a run. So everything is still possible with this testimony.
I might be wrong about this, but I don't recall that NC ever running has been stated as being planned with anyone, or that NC said she was going for a run. IIRC, this was all as related by BC that morning. I see that there are disparaging comments being made on the credibility of JA and the timing of the morning, but if the only way running came into the picture was when JA called and BC said she went running. IMHO, this is a far more likely source of obfuscated information than someone who got the family up to move furnishings.
The "She has gone running with..." sounded like a credible, but cooked up story to me. She was a known runner, she was known to run with someone else, so BC could easily whip that out to explain why she was not available to take a phone call. We know now that there were other reasons she was not able to come to the phone.
Interesting - going through the BJ's receipts?
Also, why would clothes smell at ALL if someone is using All Free & Clear???
:gthanks:This commentary on the trial is just wonderful for me. I'm having one of my "in bed" days (cancer recurred), and I refuse to die before I know the outcome of this trial! I can lie in bed w/my laptop, which is the best scenario for me. Plus I live locally to where the crime happened, so I'm tied to it until it comes to an end.
Loving this. I catch up on the news at night.
Prayers for per-curiam!!!!!
Yes, my thoughts as well. "Baliff, set the prisioner free! There WAS another kind of laundry detergent used!" Good news for BC, if he avoids conviction, he might be able to get a job as a spokesman for Tide HE. "This stuff is great. It removes stubborn stains, and life sentences."[Interesting that Kurtz is trying to paint a picture about the laundry detergent and seems to be giving the witness more credit about what she remembers and what is "important" than what she even thought.....

I think that these folks were all way too close and that it's really hard to separate out facts from what someone thought and how their judgment may have been clouded because they were so deeply involved in everyone's ongoing soap opera of life.
Thank you for your good wishes, folks. However, I don't want to take attn. away from the trial.
The trial is boring. It's like re-reading all the legal docs again. I am ready for some action. Police evidence that we don't know about, anything. Let's get moving.
I have to hang on through the J. Young trial too. I so miss the funny photoshopped cartoon-like portrayals of J.Young (on W.Sleuths, I think, old threads).
Almost wish there were som on this trial, say, C. Duncan, the gaggle, B.Cooper, you know.
I'll be back later. Thanks again.
