Interesting. Sent himself a voicemail from Ireland to his voicemail to RTP "Test 123" then places a call to alpha network conference bridge

It honestly sounds like he was doing work. Maybe in response to the voicemail message he got. That would be strange if he just murdered his wife.

That is actually really huge for the defense. We have testimony that he checked voicemail and then did work related activities after. It's obvious the vm from Ireland and the call to conferencing have nothing to do with the "spoofed" call since this occurred after. So we're to believe that he stopped to do work before continuing on with his cleanup/coverup duties?

Wow.

And since the burden of proof is on the prosecution, that should matter.

Nobody on the jury is going to believe that Brad Cooper Did not do this murder...can you imagine when they get in the jury room...the explosion of talking
I am going to say 1 hour and 45 minutes for verdict

He seemed a bit too busy with the phone for a guy that doesn't know how to use a phone.

But to me, IF he just committed murder, he would have been so careful NOT to to do anything suspicious. He knows all the records are traceable. JMO

Well it sure shows that Brad was a ver busy boy on his system, phones etc..Doubt very much Nancy would have even been able to get thru IF she was alive:floorlaugh:

ETA~~ and course this was all business related on a Saturday morning before 7AM

Yes, sounds like he was doing work...which probably wouldn't have happened if he killed his wife.

I don't believe that anything other than a single voicemail check was work related on 7/12.

I work for a tech co and so does hubby. And yes- we work odd hours, have projects that may extend into a weekend, get cell phone calls at weird hours, and have conference calls with folks all over the globe (5 AM to 11PM or midnight) But - for a Saturday AM - prior to 7 AM (esp when Cisco is a San Jose based company - like- 4 AM!!! and you KNOW the Europeans don't work on the weekends) when there has been ZERO testimony that there was any WORK stuff going on, or a special project that was taking Brad's focus, etc. - there's no way all this was WORK related. Check voicemail and you're done.

If this was work related - we'd have heard ALL about it by now in the depositions and Kurtz's opening statement.

I wouldn't say that was nerves. If you are used to using the voicemail system you don't have to think about which buttons to push. He just "double clicked" 1 to start playing the 1st message from the beginning.

Immediately after he entered his incorrect pin number.

It might make sense in the course of his job. It makes no sense in the prosecutions case considering this all happened after the last HT trip. I certainly don't understand where they are going with this. It sounds like he got home and was testing something work related.

I thought, after he returned home, he was busy giving the baby her bottle, starting more laundry, appeasing nancy with more cleaning, & google searching?

Well according to Brad's depo he was heaviliy engaged in child care with a distraught child, cleaning the house, and running errands. Not testing whether he could send voicemail from one machine to another.

Anyway, this witness isn't done yet. Let's see what else he has to say.

Do you send many at 0' dark thirty on a Saturday morning--especially THIS Saturday morning? I find it odd given all the other vmail gyrations.

I sure as heck do. I was on the phone at 2:00 AM last Saturday morning doing testing with users in China. And it was 30-40 different test calls including voicemail. The previous weekend, I was doing stuff at 5:30 am - 8:00 am and Saturday morning. Most Saturdays I'm not, so that would have been unusual, but I was that Saturday morning.

But he was so smart, he never thought they would trace anything back to him. All of these trails, records, and logs shouldn't have ever come to light. Don't forget his narcissism and elevated self-love.

What makes his actions odd is he was doing this according to him while running back and forth to Harris Teeter and giving the child a bottle, etc.

I don't think the defense is going to get somebody to buy that he was just doing some random testing on Saturday morning while running errands.

No, he only checked vm on his cell while at HT. The other calls were done back at the house on the cisco phone. So he comes home, takes Katie up stairs to finish her bottle, then sees a vm light on his cisco phone.

Just guessing, but perhaps a possible theory was he needed to put another vm on his work vm to justify why he called his voicemail at 6:45?

Ahaaaa,,,,,,good thinking...................because he erased the original!

Perhaps. But why call into the conferencing number?

I agree with the possibility of work related testing. If this witness through the prosecution or defense brings in other activity that involved contacting actual people and not just sending a test vm message to himself, I will agree with you.

NCSU95, gotta love your dedication to finding the facts and proof. You are like a stone wall and if I am ever arrested for anything I hope you are my jury foreman! I say that in the spirit of love :)

Trust me, I'm not trying to prove BC to be innocent.

I'll take them odds. I'll go with 4 days, hung jury.

There was also some data usage as he was leaving HT the first time.

BTW, in case some were still wondering what Zellinger was trying to get Dantoni to say this morning, this except from N & O might shed some light:

But D'Antoni backed away from previous statements he made in which he insinuated there might have been a romantic liaison between the two.
