Maybe its just a Canuk thing, but most people who live in detached homes have an entrance (usually a side entrance) that goes thru or by what we call a "Mud Room"..usually near the laundry room..and yess..shoes come off and stocking feet, or slippers are worn inside the house...LOL we even have a scratcher or somethings to clean off shoes just outside that door too ( for snow, or mud)..Seeing the hardwood in their house, tells me shoes usually we NOT worn in that house..JMOO of course..

Eh, I have hardwoods all through my downstairs, and I prefer to wear shoes in my house most of the time. I hate stepping in crumbs/dirt with my bare feet. I have four kids and have to sweep the entire floor SEVRAL times a day and I still step on stuff!

I apologize upfront..but I really need a timeline of sorts...Where were the kids when nancy supposedly went for a jog?..Was Brad at home with the kids???? Did the kids ever get questioned??? Did they see..hear anything??? How long after the trip with Donna and Gary? ( Nancy's folks) did this all happen??..When did Brad actually call 911??..Yikes..I dont have all the wee facts here?..Sorry to be so stupid :truce:

Thank you, you are doing a fantastic job! I thought I might have zoned out. Doesn't help that we have both Lowes Home Improvement AND Lowes Foods in the area. I thought maybe he had confused grocery stores for a minute.

Hee hee, eh?..LOL..barefeet arent always goin on here..mostly stocking feet..and yes..crumbs do collect...but hardwood floors are not so easy to clean..sweeping only gets crumbs and dust..NOT heavy duty enviornmental mud, STUFF from outside...Thats just me tho

Did Brad go to a Lowe's Home Improvement Store, or did he go to a Lowe's Foods Store? There is a Lowe's Foods VERY close to Brad's home at the intersection of Cary Pkwy. and Tryon Road, just a few blocks from his house. Of course, this was not the "cool" people's groc. store, like HTeeter, for people who are "like that".

Yes, I tried watching the live feed of the trial. I lasted 30 minutes. I won't watch any more of that. It was a horrible as sitting in a classroom on a hot day with a boring monologue teacher putting you to sleep with the drone of the voice. Don't they have a class for lawyers to learn what NOT to do?

Yesterday I was high on morphine. Today I'm back to normal, on no pain drugs. I have no excuse to sleep through that testimony.

Kids were in the house. Brad was with them. Kids never got questioned by police. Defense wants to introduce evidence that the older child told Clea Morwick that she saw her mom that morning. Much argument about that on here because BC claims she didn't wake up until 8:30. Argument has been made that she could have woken up and seen her mom then went back to sleep. No testimony allowed on that yet. Happened 1 week after trip with her parents. Brad didn't call 911. JA called the non-emergency number after talking with Brad.

I have a wingback chair at my desk. I just woke up from a 30 minute nap with my neck in a cramp!

:loser: ...(I have always wanted to use this icon!)

Very true. Although I still have issues with dust balls when I sweep with a regular broom, so I also have a swiffer sweeper thing that gets dust better, but doesn't work on crumbs/mud/leaves etc. I had them installed thinking they would be easier to clean. Boy was I wrong.

I guess it just shows hardwoods don't necessarily dictate overall cleanliness or shoes/bare feet. Just preference and how much time you really have to sweep mop them every day and if stepping in stuff bothers you :) I tend to be a little OCD with cleaning my house, and my floors still aren't always clean. I don't have time! They are a pain in my opinion!

We're back. Detective on stand.

It appears the prosecution is explaining the source of scratches on Brad's legs. Nice of him.

This is just SOP for either side -- to take the sting out of it so the other side won't score any points. as in, "Yeah, yeah, we know, so move on..."

They do it on TV all the time...

It must be the thing to do!

Have they mentioned anything else about the 3 new witnesses? I thought prosecution was going to look it over at lunch and respond.

Here we go again...

Trunk in car was extremely clean, no odors, hair ws inside trunk lid.

Mr. Clean strikes again. When he gets to the Big House, maybe he can continue. MOO.

What phone messages are they talking about?

  • #319
Salmon fishing now. :D
