Probably because these guys would have no clue. That would have to be whoever tested it. But they could have asked about length and color.

O/T: There is a Frye hearing in the Casey Anthony case tomorrow.

There is a 'death band' on the hair if the person whose hair it is was deceased at the time.

I will be seeing you over there at that forum.. that's for sure.. I have been very sucked into that case from the beginning. I had my boy June 2008 so I was on maternity leave for 3 months and watched and read everything about the case, its about time it goes to trial. Also, pretty happy about the latest motions being declined by the judge to suppress her statements and that of her family. I think she is going down but still get scared thinking with her dream team she will squeak out of it somehow.

Well there you go...another state witness with absolutely nothing of value to add. What the heck is up here?

It is establishing the chain of custody for these items. This guy collects, thats it - other than preliminary testing he does nothing else. It is then determined by others what goes where for follow up testing. This is foundation evidence and must be completed for the upcoming witnesses who actually did the testing. That is the way it works, all this squawking about no evidence is premature. Save if for what the lab guys testify to.
