Also, the fact they they saw his testimony from the first trial.

PS: I kind of thought Klink was up to something, boy,he is good.

jmo
This is true. I can see at least a couple of jurors deciding they've already seen him testify, so what's the point in being up there again. Especially after watching Holt's horrid cross, IMO.

But the PT didn't bring that up to the jury? (on why he would have bought a cigar?)

I don't recall the witness testifying to the date of the purchase for the cigars or anyone asking the question ,however, on cross PT mentioned only one purchase of cigars was ever recorded for the defendant, stating that it could have been a gift, birth of a child, etc.

The mouse probably needs new batteries.

That is probably the reason. (I had some cold meds with my coffee :D, I was just kidding around)

CY was born March 2004, credit card receipts are dated February 2004 - May 2008

Wasn't MM's child born within a few months of Michelle having Cassidy?

I thought it was the pretty blond lawyer who helped with the wills. I want to say her first name is Fiona? But I could be wrong.

:seeya:

I've got the Judge's sniffles. Felt very grumpy yesterday, listened, but didn't post 'cause I didn't want a time out. I was a grouch.

I hope they don't have technical difficulties all afternoon. That will wear on the jury.

Hope ya feel better!

That judge has the patience of a saint, doesn't he? I don't know how he does it. That said, he sure does love his "schedule." Although he told Howard he could take as long as necessary to prep for cross of the "guy with the broken cursor".

  • #331
so is the guy with the broken cursor the last witness for the DT?

I am pretty sure there will be at least one more after this.

Klinkosum is holding one last card, imo

Oh thank you :)

He sure does have a patient soul. LOL at the guy with the broken cursor. That has to be frustrating. I am sure he is a wonderful instructor, but he needs to remember this Jury didn't sign up for a class he teaches. They answered a civic duty. That is JMO.

Hmm. Just finished a little www pow-wow with my little writing group, all of us watching the trial. There are seven of us in the group - 5 would acquit.

Not that it has any bearing on the jury, I'm just wondering how many of the twelve feel the same as my 5, IMO.

BBM

You must be a hoot at the casino's. Me, I lose my $5. and watch everyone else have fun.

The DT better have more than this witness imo. It is too long and drawn out. Like I said, I am sure he is a fantastic teacher, this is not the venue. JMO I may have watched too many trials, this is not a fingerprint/dna case. IMO

:)

How good would the 2 for G be at converting the other 5 from NG to G?

Did they tell you what? What did they base it on? tia

IRRC, they are a few months apart but cannot recall the month, however, that well may have been another cigar occasion.

I didn't attempt to sway them. It would have just turned into a long debate which I'm not up for tonight, IMO, so I dropped it. They seemed entrenched in their vote.

Don't they have a pill for that?:innocent::innocent::innocent:

If they do, is it covered by insurance with no co-pay? Better be.
