BUT... a random killer already making prints upstairs isn't going to worry about making anymore going downstairs. There would be the prints all over IMO.

That's a good point. A random killer could wear the 10's right on out the door - cause there's already prints upstairs, what does it matter?

JY couldn't wear the 10's out, like a (uh) normal random killer would. Because then there'd be blood in his car.

In fact, really only somebody with access to lots of clean shoes could have got out of that house with no blood in the downstairs. Maybe it wasn't the downstairs JY was worried about at all. Maybe it was that he didn't want to get blood in the car.

The absolute rage... started after she didn't die immediatly. We see it started at some point anyway with the 30+ blows. At first it was probably going to be easy in his mind.

Agreed. He was apparently doing whatever he wanted already while MY was around, so why would he need to kill her? His mistresses were married so it's not like they were pressuring him to leave MY for them.

Really? He seemed to me to want out of the marriage. But then he'd have to pay support and Michelle would may have taken Cassidy and gone back to NY. No, IMO, he thought killing her would solve all his problems. As far as being with another woman, I don't think he wanted another relationship, I think he just wanted to hop from bed to bed and not have to answer to a wife.

Okay, I just did a little test with hubby. He wears a size 12 shoe, I wear a ladies size 8 I just took my Ryka, slip-on, walking type shoes downstairs and got him to slip those big suckers of his into my shoes and walk around the kitchen in them. No problem. Like he said, "I wouldn't want to have to walk a mile in 'em, but to walk around and leave some footprints, no problem.'

Thanks gracielee, and thank your husband for being a guinea pig! What a guy! :)

Personally, I think he was trying to limit the area of the house that would need to be cleaned or repaired as much as possible. Remember he was worried about taking a hit on the value.

Where can courtroom location, etc. be found? Anyone know? It's not on the NC court calendars that I can find.

It only has to be from the car to Michelle... and to a changing point upstairs.

Okay, I'm gonna say this and then I must back. away. from the computer.

I do think the no-blood-downstairs thing is down to one single factor. It wasn't the floor or the carpet JY was worred about. It was that he couldn't afford to get blood in his car. It wasn't the house. It was the car.

And the fact of the matter was, all his clean shoes were upstairs in the closet. So the clean stairs, the clean downstairs, was collateral, unintentional clean that came about in his aim to keep his vehicle spotless. You can't get clean shoes into the car unless you wear them down the steps and out of the house.

Right. Plus, a random killer wouldn't care if the carpets downstairs got bloody. Who but the homeowner would want to contain the mess? Less carpet to have to replace to get the house ready to sell. I'm sure he was pizzed off he had to replace any of it.

I mean now we're looking at a fairly neat and considerate killer? He not only takes care of a toddler, but he also contains his mess to just the MBR for the most part? :floorlaugh:

I think he didn't want to get blood anywhere. Bad enough it was all over the MBR, a little in the hall with CY and in CY's bathroom. Not his intent whatsoever. He was intending on a clean kill, per his computer searches. Didn't go that way.

You can't get clean shoes into the car unless you wear them down the steps and out of the house.

Well not quite...you can hold them in your hand and walk out barefoot or wearing clean socks, then put the clean shoes on in the car...or even drive without shoes on and put them on later when you are about to exit your car.

I found this video at WRAL of the crime scene, it is less than 3 minutes.

It shows CY's prints in the bathroom better than the photo we saw.

Tell me how she got back out of there, please..

She is put on or climbs on the stool, her feet are wiped clean... and she is picked up by the person standing just in the doorway???

Yup, he's a keeper. And he looked so cute walking around in my baby blue shoes too. :floorlaugh: He's a real sport, especially when it comes to wife/baby killers, allegedly. :maddening:

That's just it.........Jason was doing pretty much what he wanted and his job allowed him to travel out of town.

This also does not add up, he leaves, kisses her goodbye, goes to Cracker Barrel, calls home, listens to her tell him about
about Grey's Anatomy, and is thinking to himself, that's the last episode of that she will ever see, because he knows in hours she will be dead.......

So, where was this rage when he called home, it was testified by SS that when he called, everything seemed fine, and we see him on video at the hotel, looking perfectly normal, so where is this rage??

I do not think for a minute that MY told JY the plot of Grey's Anatomy. I am sure that was just him playing tease with MM.
Remember Jason saying the only thing worse than being married to MY would be being divorced. MF testified that MY sounded so sad that night and said she was done. MY could have let JY know that too early in the day on Thursday. Also yes SS said things seemed fine, I doubt that MY was ready to share with SS how beaten down she was. I am sure when JY was checking in to HI he worked on looking casual. I think he planned a cold quick kill and the rage came when he could not strangle her.

I just relistened to MM's testimony about her finding out that Michelle had been murdered. Something struck me.

It was interesting the words she used. She ended up (paraphrasing) "speaking with her husband and Lisa, and went onto the internet and finding out that they 'found Michelle'.”

Not finding out that “Michelle was dead” but that they “found” Michelle. Subtle difference, but significant to me b/c IMO just as JY was waiting for MY to be found by Meredith, so was she waiting for the news, not that Michelle was dead, but that she was FOUND. At this moment (I reserve right to change my mind) it sounds to me like this “broad” knew something at the time.

New here, so not sure what I am doing. I didn't see first trial but have been watching this one since it started. And come to WS at night to read everyones thoughts for the day. I came into this with a open mind and am trying to take it all in before I make up my mind. BUT......

I must agree with you Boodles MM's testimony today struck me....when she said how she found out. That her husband called her mom and told her to go to their house and go online to watch? Huh, they didnt live in NC they lived in FL, seems odd to me.

Her foot prints are facing the sink, not towards someone.

How in the world could someone pick her up and not get a print in that bathroom too?

Well a random killer wouldn't care about the prints at all at that point.

Someone not caring if the downstairs got messed up could always just carry the spare pair to the doorway/outside... then change to avoid messing up the floorboard of the vehicle.

Did you ever see M.Jackson dangling his kid over the balcony?

MJ was not the size or in the shape JY was/is.

I don't see it...... he spends his last normal day in the home, knowing he is never coming back...

I don't get it, sorry.
