Does anyone know what the current custody arrangement is regarding CY?

TIA

happy, besides Pat and Bev, who was there today supporting Jay?

snipped by me.

I have found nothing dishonorable about the defense team in this trial, and I think one must acknowledge that the prosecution team is not paid to seek the truth either. I do not trust this prosecution team, and I have found it necessary to take everything they say with a grain of salt.

None of the lawyers are the ones testifying, so you either believe a witness' testimony or you don't. Do you have an issue with this judge? The evidence is what it is. The rulings are what they are. This seems like a pretty straight forward trial to me.

How many "objection"...."Judge, can I be heard?"

I was disappointed that Beth Karras wasn't there today. :) There's a huge In Session satellite truck parked on Fayetteville Street though.

Maybe she will be there tomorrow.

Meredith has custody. JLY is allowed supervised visitation every other Sunday for an hour I believe

Supervised for a very good reason.

Attorneys "testify" through their witnesses. They choose to ask specific questions and present the evidence in a certain manner. They also give opening statements. I do not have an "issue" with this Judge, and I think most of his rulings have been quite fair. Despite that, I think it's ridiculous to make some of the leaps that the prosecution has tried to do.

I think it's low to malign defense attorneys simply because they represent the defendant in a contentious trial.

If he is convicted (as I am hoping) can Meredith be compelled to take poor CY to visit him in jail? I hope not!

I agree, especially after the tricks CA's defense team played.

Jason's attorneys are polite, do not attack or badger witnesses, and make their point quickly and effectively.

Did you see the stunt last trial of showing the jury a crew neck sweater, passing it off as the missing zip neck, stripe chest pullover?
IMO, that was very shifty...smoke and mirrors defense tactic.

Interesting you don't trust the PT...you opinion.
And yes, they are paid to seek the truth.

Can you name anything they have done you consider "dishonorable" :waitasec:

:goodpost:

The defense lawyers on this case are the best anyone could hope for.
I am so impressed with them........and, that is not normally the case.

I would be happy to discuss this with you outside of this public forum.

And if the prosecution was paid to seek the truth, we would not have wrongful convictions, and the withholding of exculpatory evidence in so many cases.

What leaps have they made that you find ridiculous?

Hope not either,.
When he was in jail for 18 months, she never saw him.
Bet the same thing will apply when he is locked up for life.

If he is convicted, not only will she not have to take CY to see him, but, in terms of the legal system it will be as if he died the day before his wife. I learned this during the BC case. Full custody can go to MF and JY will not have parental rights to his daughter.

THIS PT is paid to seek the truth in this case. The truth being, proving JLY is a murderer.
Thankfully, they are doing a great job this time.
MY and RY deserve it.

I also believe they are polite and do not badger witnesses. They are prifessional and smart and articulate. But I have one big problem with the way they cross examined MF having her go through that 911 call inferring in many places she was being untruthful. That to me was unfair!

Please discuss here, so we can all learn.
