Co-worker from Progress on the stand ... they talked weekly ... inquiring about benefits that Michelle had through work .. processed life insurance claims for deceased employee.

"ending badly".. the prosecution has not rested yet...

"I bet a lot of jurors have already made up their minds"... I surely hope not as that would go against what they were instructed in jury selection and the trial is not yet half over

:twocents:

I thought the state was done with Spivey.....

They are talking about life insurance claim.

prosecution is plumping up the money as a motive theme and it makes a lot of sense to me

Okay, no need to worry !!

The state is not done.

I hate all this whispering between HC and BH.

He is so incompetent. He can't even keep track of his evidence. Becky is doing it for him. OMG JY could walk because of this incompetent prosecutor. It's sickening. Who is his boss and how can s/he be allowing this fiasco?

they are on to another witness... who knows how many more they have to go? My point was that they had not rested yet thusly have not "ended badly" that was all

Is this the life insurance policy or a policy from work?

Makes me cringe. The whispering sounds unprofessional imo.

See, they could not pay out because the beneficiary was a suspect !!

I can't imagine how difficult it would be to process the life insurance claim of a friend.

You can't hear it when you're in the courtroom. The WRAL mic picks it up clearly though. This happened during the BC trial too. And yes, Chad was told about the mic picking up the whispering as well. ;)

There are two doors side-by-side. The grey door does lock. The glass door is locked until 6am. If I'm correct, Spivey was asked if the door that was propped open, which was the grey one, after the rock was moved out of the way, was the door locked. Which the answer is yes. They didn't ask about the glass door.

The policy was paid to LF for CY.

So, where are they going with this?

Jason did not get the money.

Sorry I have been picking on Chad all day. LOL

Is this the new evidence that was mentioned earlier? It appears that HC is not very familiar with it,,,,,it's not even stapled.

  • #797
That's not very much in terms of life insurance. No way this is the motive.

$50, 000 policy to begin with and MY added $50, 000 in case of accident.

The policy was from 2003

$50,000 in Prudential insurance. Not enough to raise a child.
