I wouldn't be surprised if it was Boz. They all work in the courthouse, and their offices are all interspersed. It's not uncommon for the other ADAs to pop in and out of the courtroom during other trials.

Can I just say that Continuing Legal Education should really include Public Speaking for trial lawyers, if it doesn't already. The "um"-ing is really distracting. I mean, this is your profession -- you really should try to improve your delivery. Also, can't prosecutors actually hire other lawyers to do the examinations? That would make a huge difference in this case, imho.

Let's just say if you can't ask a witness what their name is without having 3 or more "um's" in your question, well, you probably should consider a career change. imo at least.
