On the policy he stated that he did not smoke cigarettes or cigars within the past year. Since he testified that he only occasionally smoked cigars, it would be easy for the defense to claim that he hadn't smoked any during the year before he filled out the form. This doesn't seem to be a strong "gotcha".
I don't put too much into checking 'no' for smoking on the insurance application. He's known to lie, why wouldn't he do that same thing to get an insurance application through.

Shows he will lie!! Plus if you die and they can confirm you smoke at all the policy will not pay out!!

:floorlaugh:
If you die, how would you collect anyway?

People lie ALL the time on insurance apps regarding smoking.
I am surprised how inexpensive their insurance was though for those very high amounts. Sure they were very young, but still. $80 a month for $2 million life (and AD&D which is always dirt cheap) and $140 for JY. Very inexpensive.
I am beginning to think that JY is not entirely truthful.

Your beneficiary would not get the proceeds.
He's so inappropriate. I can imagine that MY cringed whenever they were out in social situations together. I may be projecting though cuz I had an SO like this in a previous life and my stomach was in knots whenever we were around other people.
Juror probably needed the brain bleach.

Juror who requested a break had been talking and laughing about two minutes prior. Wasn't anywhere near the d tricks comment though. I think she just really needed to pee.
I will say, having seen this jury on more than one occasion, that I feel some of them will be strong NG jurors. There are some I'd say are definite G jurors also.
