I have always wondered what would have happened if JY had given LF and MF liberal visitation agreement.

OT Congrats on your 1000th post!

RAL is cutting out on me but it may be due to the high winds/weather in my area.

Before the last thread closed, someone brought up the lack of blood.
I have often thought that perhaps JY cleaned up in the toilet, rinsed off gloves etc. instead of sink.
Just a thought..a gross one however. Sorry for those eating breakfast!

Do you mean master bath? In video taken day MY discovered there was urine in toilet. (Ok, stop eating breakfast.) Or do you mean CY's bathroom? He is a rather gross individual...

I always wondered if the hose was turned on for the dog to drink from since his food/water were in the kitchen and he had to be outside during crime.

We'll never know. In this case it's obvious he was his own worst enemy. He could of allowed the visitation, it's possible there would of been no custody lawsuit that has been used against him in this trial.

Was AS working on BC case (for Rentz family) and JY at the same time?

Close enough in time (months retained) that there had to be overlap.

ETA: for those who followed the BC trail, it appears the clerk, after 8 extension requests (each a month), will finally produce the BC trial transcripts so the appeal can get underway.

dmaxphil, you are absolutely right. There is a case where after 72 days and 8 inches of rainfall, blood was found at a crime scene which helped convict the perp. A good "teaching moment" for those unfamiliar with the wonders of Luminol ;)

Link please...thanks

Oh, to be a fly on the wall over at Tharrington Smith during this time... I was so impressed with AS during the BC case. I wonder if she was secretly thinking, "Is there something in the Wake County water??"

Well it was over asphalt... and the ground immediately under it. It says parking lot several times.

Even if blood was found, does that still include JY as a suspect or help the defense. I'm not sure it is either one.

It simply shows that it's possible that the water wouldn't wash all the blood away, nothing more. At least that's my interpretation.

Oh wow he was involved with the BC case?

Right. But what would that prove either way? Still JY will be a suspect, still could be someone else.

It's amazing to me how this case and the BC case will be forever linked in time due to numerous factors (lawyers involved, circumstances of the both cases, location, time it happened, etc).

Truly an interesting time in Wake County as it pertains to true crime. I can't remember another instance where two cases were somewhat intertwined with each other such as these two are.

I don't think it would have made any difference. I'm of the opinion that the objective all along was to obtain complete physical custody and I doubt it would have been over before all options were exhausted.

Not sure it helps or hurts. However, any theory that includes JY going outside to hose any significant amount of blood off CY could not be correct, unless you also believe that LE completely botched the investigative part of blood detection near that sidewalk.
