OT/ I just went and listened to the social workers 911 call in the Josh Powell murders. She's telling the 911 operator 'she needs help now', and he says 'we have to send our responders to those who are in eminent danger first.' Speaking to a second 911 operator, socialworkers says 'these boys are in danger' & then the house blows up. :(

Gracie Lee Dahms is the King, NC gas station attendant who identified both JY's SUV and JY as visiting the station at 5:27am on Fri Nov 3rd. She's the one he swore at because she was not allowed to turn on the pumps for CASH purchases at that early morning hour. Had the customer used a credit card s/he would not have to come into the area where Gracie was.

This use of cash at 5:27am thus forced JY to come into the station, where he threw down a $20 bill, cussed out Gracie Lee Dahms, and then only pumped $15 worth of gas. He never came back in for his $5 change and he sped away. She remembered him, his vehicle, and this incident because this was unusual behavior. She was not used to being cussed out by customers, it hadn't happened to her before, and this incident made a strong impression.

I doubt you will find anyone who can or will defend some of Jason's behavior, including his own attorney's, but you can also have someone who never in their life did anything wrong and just one day flipped out and went on a killing spree.

Whoever killed Michelle was in such a rage in the moment.......that trying to say Jason left the home peacefully, stopped to eat at a country restaurant, looked normal on the hotel videos, alll of a sudden turned into this raging lunatic killer is a big leap from someone who swallowed a ring, drew a magic marker face, or went to the bathroom on someone's rug.........

I'm sort of curious - you've agreed to the guilt of a list of men, as to the murders of their wives. Prior to those murders that you agree happen, what do you think those guys were doing? What do REAL murderers eat? Which restaurant is the one reserved for real murderers? As for looking normal, I'm not sure what a real murderer looks like - five o'clock shadow, vein standing out on his forehead, and a KILLER nametag pinned to his shirt?

This post made me :floorlaugh:

don't forget the guy who did it twice, Drew Peterson

OT
SHhhh...............don't mention that name! Then you'd have to also bring up his ex-wife's b/f who mysteriously disappeared without a trace, or the brother who objected to DP seeing his teenage little sister, then the bother who happened to hang himself in the garage and was found by DP! :what:... Yeah, DP lived across the street and I believe was still married to #3, prior to meeting #4 and #3 being found deceased in a dry bathtub. :panic:

LOL! On TOPIC
Nah, JY isn't as diabolical as DP. Besides, he just uses an alibi rather than disappearing his erased wife!

JMHO of course!

Based upon review by some in attendance, I do not believe all parties were involved in such hooligans. Suffice it to say he exhibited some strange behaviors, a precursor to what he is charged with? No.

IMO, often times friends will put up with some *hooligans* because to not do so, would result in the spouse also being shunned, and the friends like the spouse. JMO

Cammy, the friend said that Jason wasn't a planner, yet on the night of the murder, he mentioned to Michelle and her friend that he was going to get something to eat later, before checking into the hotel, where he was staying and that he had a meeting the following morning at 10:30.

The friend found it odd that Jason was letting them (most likely Michelle) know about his schedule while away. In retrospect, she said that Jason wasn't a planner so after the murder she thought that Jason telling his wife about his schedule was suspicious.

I don't find his planning to be unusual or sharing the details with his wife. He was on a business trip, headed toward the mountains where cell reception was poor and she had previously miscarried a baby. I would expect a husband to share such information. This is the type of detail that the prosecution is trying to substitute for actual evidence. There has yet to be any evidence that he had anger management issues or a history of such incredible violence.

Gracie was on the stand for a proffer about her testimony after the jury left for lunch. She was hit by a truck when she was 7yo. I guess the def. wants to show that she isn't a reliable witness due to the head injury. Judge said he will allow her testify. That's all I got out of it. Since I didn't know who she is, it was kind of confusing.

The defense sure seems worried about Gracie's testimony, in the first trial they tried to block her saying she was shown a single pic of JY and should have been shown a 6 pack. But Judge ruled her testimony in that time, now they have continued to DIG DIG DIG they seem desperate to me. This brain injury she suffered at age 7 explains why she has spoken the way she has, and some interview didn't quite match. But it does not take away the fact she was shown a single pic, asked if she had seen this guy and she replied she had, that he had cussed her out and thrown money at her, and then been in such a hurry didn't even pump it all, or want his change, just drove away. He was in a HURRY. The camera being shoved towards ceiling times right in about the time he would have been arriving back at hotel from Gracies gas station. OMG this is great, sealed Gracie's story and no one can say she changes her story. Maybe her head injury makes ppl who are taller look like they're not who knows, but this proves to me the defense is worried about her They're still trying to discredit her this long later ?

She came across as very confused last time and it hurt the prosecution more than helped. The jury didn't know she was brain damaged and still voted majority not guilty.

Bottle Cap, you forgot that real murderers also have handlebar mustaches, they peer into the lens of cameras while sneering and twisting said mustaches and intoning, "Nyah-ah-ahhh!" Top hat optional.

The ruling on Gracie was if the attorneys could ask her about her accident when she was 7.......

The Judge ruled they can ask her.

Hmmm, the last person to see Michelle alive, and yet she spoke to law enforcement without an attorney present.
