If not, it is 100% obvious JLY did the cleaning up.

But the way I view this, the fact that she stated things which could be used used in each side of the case lends to her credibility as a witness.

I think the jury "gets it" in terms of the marriage overall. They had a bad relationship from the start and only got married due to her pregnancy. They had an extremely immature relationship. They both were extroverted and social, but JY continued to act like a freshman fraternity pledge into his 30's and after marrying and having kids.

Noises don't mean much, IMO. They lived in an area with very large lots and lots of wildlife. And it was simply a drunken declaration of love for his wife during a wedding reception...along with a simultaneous dig (she's crazy) at MY.

Those who want to support the slayer will find any reason to do so. They'll grab any morsel out of a witness's testimony to bolster their opinion. I'm sure JLY's clan is doing just that.
