BTW (and OT): today marks the 3rd anniversary of the murder of little Caylee Anthony. She should be remembered today, especially.

It's been well over 30 minutes, hasn't it?

Must be one heck of a fight going on. It isn't like the defense was not aware of who was on the witness list...Judge is not going to be happy about the jury being locked away for this extended period.

That's what I think, and that they are trying to suppress anything she may have heard/seen.

maybe the counselor?? no clue what she looks like
I had forgotten about the counselor. I was thinking daycare like you when the defense wanted her testimony surprised. If it's what we've heard, it's bad for Jason.

Caught tail end of CAS testimony. Then saw the bombshell here. WOW.

So was the point of her testimony to show that JLY is a HIMBO? We kind of knew that already.

Thanks for that, Mad -- Haven't heard Himbo since college!!! I had almost forgotten that wonderful word. I do think he's one -- but it does give other Himbos a bad, bad name.

He is truly a slimeball.

Yeah, I guess Himbo would be a long climb up for him. Well, it gives him something to aspire to, eh?

Hopefully it will all be in Amanda Lamb's book. I certainly hope she's written a book on this one.

Yes, she was a healthy, seemingly happy, beautiful little girl. How her grandma & grandpa Anthony loved her. Oh, ICA (Inmate CA) is as low as JY. At least she's up for the death penalty. The DT starts today in this trial.

Thanks for the reminder

I'm impatient, too. I would've gone on to the grocery if I knew it was going to take this long.

I don't think we need to worry. I'm sure she's taking notes (or someone is for her) as we type. I read one of her books before - the one about Ann Miller. I was also very interested in that case b/c I felt a connection - I could see all the police/ambulance lights at her boyfriend's house the night that he killed himself - my Dad's kitchen window looked right towards his driveway. Oh and Ann was a *marriage counselor* at my parish. Crazy.

While we're waiting, does anyone know the deal with the prints lifted from phone/phone booth on Wake Forest Rd (I asked in yesterday's thread, too and didn't see that it was answered)? I know they didn't get a match to any of the "known"s in this case. Just didn't know what led them to that phone.

Thanks!

Very bad for Jy. But, it isn't like the defense was not aware of her so it begs the question as to why they are now trying to supress if that is what is going on. The defense tried to keep Gracie Dahms out but did so before trial started. I hope someone we know is sitting in that court room and can give us a clue.

I don't know and like you I am wondering the relevance, if there is any, of that phone and the phone booth.

I was glued to the Ann Miller case. Eric Miller looked like such a nice, wholesome young man. I was watching the early news that night, while preparing dinner, when Darrel Willards wife came home from work and put that garage door up, finding his body in the garage. What ever channel I was watching was doing a live shot at the time. It was just awful. Thought they would never get Ann Miller. I'm curious though, didn't she have a second child, one with her new husband? I thought I'd heard about that, but never could find any confirmation?

Like someone else here said, I could have been doing a million things, other than sitting her waiting for the jury to come back. :maddening:

Where abouts on Wake Forest Rd. is the phone booth? I missed that?
