Interesting, Defense attorney went back to his office to grab something. I wonder if it's a piece of evidence (like the missing clothes???).

Just kidding, I think it'd be a huge ethical violation to still have the missing clothes.

If the stick didn't do the trick,
Use a rock, you Crock.

IMO

It is kind of obvious what he did, and he admitted he did... just didn't use a rock in his version :innocent: .

Perhaps it's the blow poke? Oh wait, different trial, different wife-killer. :maddening:

Gosh, this thread is going to be long tonite! It'll probably take me all night to read everyone's comments and your take for today.

I know I don't take the notes word for word and I'm sorry about that. I can talk fast, LOL, but not that fast. Hope it at least helps those who can't watch from work or just can't get video to work.

I have to tell ya, I'm SHOCKED! J is testifying. I think I get his strategy, but........I don't think it'll work. How many years has he had time to think up EXCUSES for things that went on in this case?

That's what I thought.

IMHO, the time for J to speak up was in the beginning. Never talking to LE is NOT ok in my book. His wife and unborn baby were murdered, for goodness sake. He did NOT help LE one iota, not even telling them IF anything was missing. IF he really cared about his wife and child, he would have helped LE for THEM!

Of course, JMHO

Maybe it's a big wooden duck.

Judge is not willing to cancel out today.

Juror feels her current state will interfer with her ability to focus today.

Maybe it's a big wooden duck.

The lovely thing about those ducks though, is the prosecution knew about them the day after the defense did. ;)

Judge talking to juror. Under weather. Do you need medical attention? Can you proceed at this time? Are you able to proceed at this time but promise me if you feel sick, please let me know. We can take early lunch, limited options, excuse you and use alternate. You've given four weeks to this jury but if you feel you can't go on, please let me know. If how you feel is interfering with you concentrating, please raise your hand. Please do that.

Can you proceed right now? do you feel right now interfer with your ability.

Juror was responding off mic!

Seems juror said she can go on for now, lawyers again talking to judge no mic

LOL, judge, uhmmmmmmm when you feel any better about it, if I move your seat to the end so you can get out without stepping on other jurors. Then I won't ask you again. ................... will that help or not? It's not about me and what I prefer, it's about how you feel about your ability to serve. ............................can't hear, sorry juror reply........................

Judge, ok, huh, huh, huh, audience laughing too.

I know a number of you have expressed concerns about her before she came forward. I think I'll ?????? my assessment of what you're telling me is you don't think it's good for you to continue to serve. Hope you're feeling better but have to replace you. It would be prudent for me to do that. Unless we turn up with bigger problems.

Thanks juror and give notes to baliff and he'll seal them. Do not discuss this with anyone because you're not released as a juror and won't be released until a verdict is reached.

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

There should be 3 left - one has been used.

I was thinking the one with the transportation issues had been replaced by an alternate. Couldn't remember how many they started with. Thank you.

Poor woman....he just needs to let her go. It doesn't sound like she is well.

  • #174
Ms Holt wants to keep her if she's sickened by the defendant, IMO.

Yes, and judge has asked this at least 8 times now. What is so freaking difficult to answer. Geez. Louise.

It's going to be interesting watching Becky cross considering Jason's complete lack of respect for women. I hope she can get him riled up. Maybe he thinks he can win her over with his charm

I thought I remember them starting with 16.

Bye bye Ms Juror.

  • #179
I think they're hoping to wrap up this week, and they can't take the chance of going into deliberations and her still being this sick.

  • #180
Smart move, if one is sick, don't expose the others any more and get through this before the others do get sick if this some kind of bug.
