I don't think it matters what he says--the tears--or lack there of will speak volumes to the jury. No one HAS to cry, but the FAKE crying is manipulative.
I was impressed at how composed JY was a first. However, if any juror was wavering on his guilt, they're not anymore. The fake emotion is so bad it's actually embarassing to watch! I'm surprised his lawyers didn't warn him against these antics.
