I don't understand how wearing a shirt with a stripe on it 5 months later explains the lack of finding the shirt with his belongings when he returned to Raleigh from his "business trip" (when LE seized his vehicle and belongings). Has anyone ever heard of "shopping"?

Also, I just can't get past why he left Raleigh at 7PM to stop in Hillsville instead of either leaving earlier the next day or earlier the prior day to stay in Clintwood the night before the appointment. It makes no sense to drive only 3 hours to stay in a hotel, unless of course he intended to circle back to get rid of his wife in the night. And he remembers how many matches he had to light his cigar??? Gimme a break!

Does anyone know if the security cameras show him in the lobby getting breakfast at the Hampton Inn?

That birthday party was in 2007, right? No reason they shouldn't have found that shirt.

ETA: Then again, it's not a very clear picture....IIRC, when shown in court it looked like it was printed off a computer onto paper. Maybe it's the striations in the ink because the whole picture looks that way.

NOT the same shirt. He may have purchased a new one to make it look like he still had it but he failed to get the same SIZE. Someone elsewhere has posted the two pictures together. One from video shows the shirt is much larger than the one in the birthday photo. Replacement, just like Michael Peterson's family suddenly "finding" the missing blowpipe.

Yep, rc - And re the stick vs. rock in the door -- IIRC, they couldn't rule out his DNA on the rock, so his testimony is using the stick.

Honestly, I think there would be a slam dunk guilty verdict even if the prosecution did not ask JY a single question. He put the nail in his coffin on direct.

So according to JY, there were simple explainations for everything! If that was the case, why would his attorney not agree to have LE interview him with his attorney present?

Now that is truly a key question especially when he was so worried about the press hounding him and the vigilante websites, not to mention where is the righteous indignation that someone murdered his wife and left his daughter to roam in her blood. All this time, he has done nothing, absolutely ZERO, to assist the police in finding out who murdered Michelle. He gave up his daughter knowing she would be around Linda who was so dramatic he couldn't expose his daughter to that originally. He allowed an NC court to rule him a Slayer and took a hit for 15.5 million in a wrongful death suit. He would do all this, but it seems he did it for one reason - to totally avoid any and all contact with police and to avoid providing all these simple explanations or any information to LE that might have helped to find out who murdered his wife.

I bet he has brown eyes cos he darn sure is full of it...:loser:

Lots of interuptions by the lawyer as well, trying to limit how much was said. I agree with you, they will not be shocked if the jury does not buy this performance.

What tears???!!! I saw him rub his face real hard and push his eyeballs almost back into their sockets, but I saw no tears. He is about as fake as can be and it made me sick - all that fake stumbling over sentences and words. OMG, poor actor, very poor actor!!!!!!

This guy's acting makes The Arnold look like an Oscar-winning thespian.
This guy's ego makes The Donald look like a modest introvert.
This guy's appearance makes Jeffrey Dahmer look like a great choice for Youth Camp Meals Director.
This guy's lies would make Pinocchio's nose look like a California Redwood (Old Growth).
