The general opinion is either a maglight or bat. No weapon was ever found.IIRC

What about the lamp? Or did that just have blood 'on it'?

I'd guess a bat, I'd think a maglight could have left a few distinct impressions?

Jason Young viewing his handiwork unemotionally.

Ooops, forgot about that. But I personally don't think it would have done that kind of damage without breAKING.

Mr defense lawyer looks a bit green.

Can JY see the autopsy photos the witness is discussing? From the feed it does not look like the JY can see the photos.

Most defense attorneys would not want their client to see the autopsy photos. Really, there's no appropriate way for their client to react. So, most likely he will not, and probably has not, seen photos of her body.

He can see it in the monitor in front of him. N'mind. I don't see a monitor there.

13 separate blows to the back of the head.
cannot tell which blow was first, or order.

left side of head, were more significant. this group behind left ear is close to back, caused skull to shift because of force on the bone.
they shaved her hair in order to photograph wounds.

ex 1307, view of inner section, showing better view of how deep lacerations were.

13-8, closer view of laceration not very visible prior, probably two blows and maybe 3 separate blows. More towards right side of head. away from main grouping previously shown.

13-9 back side of right hand. abrasion, discolored, not as good in photograph as in person, (imo, protecting herself)

sorry, video buffered, lost for a minute

At least 30 blows.

Remind me why he's not up for the Death Penalty?

  • #313
30 blows. Blunt force instrument. Wound to mouth could have been done with a fist.

  • #314
At least 30 blows to her head - the injuries could not have been inflicted by any less than 30 blows to her head...gulp.

  • #315
Good explanation about not performing a sex assault kit. Blood patterns on her clothes, no visable injuries to genatlia.

  • #316
fetus size of 20 weeks or more. :(

  • #317
Hair stuck in blood in left hand, preserved.

Cause of death: Blunt force injury to head.
Manner of death: Homicide

no phnomonia (sp?) which means she died quickly after or during the attack. Meaning within 6 hours of attack.

hair stuck in blood on her finger. blood samples, cuttings etc preserved from hands and fingernails.

cause of death, blunt force injury to head.

manner of death, different than cause of death. ie, bleeding due to gunshot, blunt force to the head is cause.

Manner = intent, ie external forces not connected to body, gunshot, fire, blunt force. to differentiate between accident or suicide or homocide, etc. intent to cause harm to another.

Manner = homicide

cross now, couple questions, now Ms. Fisher
