I missed that testimony today....did he give a range of midnight to 6AM?

I did not hear time mentioned at all. Possible my ears were asleep but I really heard no reference to time of death. Only time reference was she died before pnuemonia set in - 6 hours or less from infliction of the blows to death.

Can she walk in them, without dragging her feet? Can she make *footprints*, like in sand or blood, without any sort of shuffling or dragging imprints?

Not mine, but she could in her sisters.

Listening to Dr. Clark. The Wake Co Medical Examiner and a Toxicologist wrote parts of the report so hopefully they will testify to TOD.

Dr Clark first saw the decedent 34 hours after death (refrigerated in morgue for multiple hours). Hopefully, we will hear from Wake county ME, who did the "report of investigation by ME". He would have seen the body at the crime scene and could have used core body temp, rigor and livor to estimate the TOD.

In Meredith's testimony she described her sister as "very cold and stiff," which implies she was in pretty deep rigor at that point. Probably something like 10 - 12 hrs after death.

The original estimate published was 12AM to 6AM....split the middle and you have 3AM.
Fits the timeline perfectly.

He went out to smoke a cigar

That was to cover why he had 2 bottles of water, a newspaper, heavy pullover and gloves.:floorlaugh:

Since that was a "smoking" escape for employees. Easy enough to grab a few butts for the trip.

Thanks for having the gutz to put it in writing, JTF. If we can distinguish and hear those words -- and I heard those 3 words the first time I heard the recording with no doubts -- surely nearly everyone else heard it as well.

From the mouths of babes....

And Daddy, of all people, would understand what his own daughter said. So would (aunt) Meme.

Meredith is so trying to hold herself together on the stand and on the call.

She is a strong, courageous, and model witness. She gets her strength from this, I'm sure, because she is doing it for her big sister. What a fine, beautiful woman she is.

Apparently beating his pregnant wife to a bloody pulp and ending the life of his unborn son didn't phase him either.

"At least 30 blows..." according to the ME. OMG. What an inhuman being.

Whats next?

What does the future hold?

Not to be for Jay

JY and family arrived at Meredith's house approximately 9:30 pm.

Search warrant for the Explorer was drawn somewhere around midnight as I recall.

He didn't ask anything about what had happened.

They never do...

So JY refused to speak to LE even before they determined this was a murder. Her sister thought it may have been suicide at the time.

He wouldn't even do a walk-thru to tell them what might have been missing/stolen. Lower than dirt.
