Its quite apparant the only difference is..He was wearing a jacket/blazer over his sweater and shirt....He may have had the jacket and paper at the side out of camera view..also you can see he was wearing those Hushpuppies...!!!
All this change in 33 seconds?? Something is wrong, very wrong. MOO

I think the shirt is very important.

I also think its a mistake if the prosecution tries to use the teachers testimony as is. (They lopped off the end of it.)

Here's why: the jury can't be expected to split hairs over the brutality of the murder versus caring for the child. We can do that here. There is too much evidence that the guy basically used MY as a babysitter and too much evidence that he had little interest in being a dad or a husband or any other type of useful human.

They need to think simpler. They need to think of using the lack of evidence against the idea of it being anyone but daddy dumbest and move on. The kid being traumatized is bringing the wrong type of emotion in at the wrong time. It also confuses what the pros is saying about JY.

If she had said: this is the mommy doll, this is the daddy doll, he's spanking mommy. I'd be all over it. It's too much and runs the risk of isolating one juror. And all the D needs is one.

Also, it will only take one juror to question, why she picked a female over the male figure..Many have suggested the defense has already strongly suggested Meredith was involved, will this backfire on the state?

I heard, "Daddy" but not did it. how could a 2 year old know that they wanted a "did it".
I heard Daddy twice, not did it. imo.

One can hear 'Daddy did it' plain as day on a tape which had been clarified forensically. We had a dedicated poster at that time whose job was in the forensic field and she even sent a copy of her tape to LE in Raleigh.

The PT never pointed out blisters this trial....moot point.
They decided not to go there.

moot point? Really? Most of their forensic evidence is about shoe prints and size of shoe and they consider his blisters a moot point? Yikes

When does the prosecution claim CY was drugged? Before, after or did they not say?

If CY was drugged and it is believed she was asleep through this horrific murder, where does that leave the alleged "daddy did it" utterance and doll testimony for this jury?

Can someone please clarify something for me? In the 911 call, MF says she went there on a "fluke" and that she doesn't normally go there during the day. I thought JY was the one who told her to go by the house? Is that not the case? Did MF go there because JY told her to or she just happened to pass by?:waitasec:

Obviously she was not asleep during the murder as we have a myriad of her tiny, bloody footprints. She likely awoke during the murder and stumbled upon the carnage. Since he had to get back to the Hampton Inn and had already set up the "printout" for Meredith to retrieve, he figured if he could get CY to sleep, Meredith would be by to find her later.

The fluke was the multiple calls from JLY and even a call from his mother for her to go retrieve the printout. That's just deductive logic. I don't think she would be telling a 911 operator "I came over here to get an eBay printout.". It was more like OMG, I don't normally come here but thank God I did. She was unaware JLY had orchestrated the whole thing...she, unknowingly, was part of his sick script.

She could've said her husband told me to come by ? To me "fluke" means not arranged, by chance, her choice. To be honest that through me off.....

Thanks for the clarification.

Why would she say that and who can think rationally during any emergency much less while speaking to 911 and simultaneously looking at your sister with her skull bashed in, and trying to remain calm for her tiny daughter who is there? Have you ever had an emergency in which you have had to phone 911? I have. You can't think. And you certainly aren't concerned with providing details other than what is absolutely necessary to the situation. Her fluke comment was probably her "thinking aloud" not attempting to apprise the 911 operator of why she was there.

So we don't really know if in fact CY was given any tylenol except for a latent fingerprint on the bottle with no match.

Like I said, the "fluke" part through me off. You clarified it for me. Thanks.

A mix of the two drugs in the dropper as well as her (CY's) DNA (which implies her mouth was on said dropper), and a print on a bottle that have come from anywhere. Heck when he was shacking up with Carol Ann she could have had a headache and taken Tylenol. The fact that the dropper itself had NO prints means the person who administered the med wore gloves. I doubt if the person wearing gloves to give it would have been stupid enough to put their prints on the bottle. They were being careful...

Even if it had Jason's fingerprint, it wouldn't matter, would it? He lived there.

I don't know too many people who buy adult strength tylenol in liquid form. Moot point. Just things that I wonder about.

Good morning!

RE: Image Manipulation - Couple of points.

Image manipulation/editing/enhancing is great when you keep a copy of the original. The problem, when it comes to the surveillance photos, is that the quality is so poor of the original image you could literally draw gloves, shoes, stripes, baseball bats (ok, just use your imagination here) to the image without being able to tell it was doctored. Once you place an image in a capable editor, the sky is the limit. Image error level analysis software can check for this, but on low quality images it can be tough.

There would be no way for us to know if the image was enhanced (lighting/exposure/contrast) or if elements were added/deleted from original photo.

Another note.. I have 15+ years exp working with photo editing software. I have never seen a case where I could make a dark item (the shirt in the hotel video) appear so completely different in desk photo and the hallway photo without losing other bright areas in photo.

For instance, look at bottle cap and skin tone in desk photo. Compare this to newspaper and skin tone in hallway photo. These items are not vastly dissimilar. Now compare the shirt color. It requires an advanced level of image editing to produce these results (destructive type editing).

Again, you could say that this was done to highlight details of shirt. If this is the case, we should be shown original to compare.

That's the picture I wondered about early on. To me it looks like a female. Take it fwiw.

What is that thing that looks like someone is wearing a slinky on their wrist (or a bunch of bangle bracelets)? I'm sure it's not an arm, but I can't tell what it is.

Yup, I thought it was bangle bracelets also and that's what made me think it was a woman.
