State wants answers from Baez

He *might* manage to get this DP under his belt, but, doesn't he have to have tired 5 to get the whole enchilda and *badge*??

For some reason, I'm thinking that to be completely DP certified, you have to have more than one going for you ~

And, personally, IF he manages to make it though this one, I don't think he'll even be able to sell tickets for ticket master, let alone defend a parking ticket.

JB will never get DP certified, who would hire him again?

Now hold on just one minute. JB is obviously incompetent. BUT nothing he has or has not done has come close to anything that would lead to a reversal on the grounds of ineffective assistance of counsel. There is a huge gap between incompetence and ineffective assistance of counsel. Believe it or not. The confusion you are feeling is because we in the field of law refuse to use the English language in a normal manner.

Thank you AZ - I had my hand on the keys to say go look in AZ's thread and here you are being far more precise - thank you! I'm always a little loose when I comment on your comments because I'm concerned about getting them "right", even though I usually have the "gist" of it. And yes, I was saying incompetent is not necessarily ineffective assistance of counsel. You just say it better.

There is also a ton of stuff you have written in (your) the legal thread - where you have answered this question every way including up in the last few months for us.

I wonder what Casey is doing right now? I wonder if she is trying to talk to Robyn through the vents? "Cookie? Cookie? Where are you?" I'm assuming that Robyn was brought back today in order to be there for the hearings? If Casey is asleep, she should be woken up in about 3 hours... I wonder if anyone has prepped her for what she is going to hear today? I think her ears should be checked for earplugs... especially if her hair is down and over her face like it was last time? I want her to hear everything!

I wonder what Cindy and George are doing tonight? Are they even sleeping in the same home? The same bedroom? Or has Cindy moved into Casey's bedroom now that she set it up the way she likes it?

hhhhhhmmmmm, I am thinking I may need to run out and get some Depends before the hearing. I almost needed them while reading this thread tonight!

I so hope Chief Judge Perry puts a stop to Baez and Masons' nonsense. The shennigans need to stop NOW. This is all about an innocent, precious little two year old child whose life was snuffed out and she was thrown away like garbage. It is beyond time to get serious.

Little Caylees' name has been lost in all of this BS of Baez and Mason. Thank goodness the trial is relatively soon.

Ugh! I cannot sleep tonight because I took a long nap in the afternoon. I am anticipating the hearing and reading everyone's comments!!

I imagine Casey will be awakened soon, given her breakfast, and an opportunity to primp before being transported to a holding cell at the courthouse. Gonna be a long couple of days for her, IMO. This is going to be a great preview for her as to how the trial will be, and she is so NOT going to like it.

You didn't say it but usually I see people talking about pocket squares.....that took me a while to figure out. We call them kerchief/handkerchief here. Your kerchief should always match your tie, apparently, very English thing to do. To hear it called a "pocket square" always makes me laugh and reminds me of a 10 yr old boy playing dress up. In that case, carry on Baez
