The plot thickens. wow. I think we all suspected they all helped, looks like evidence is starting to point in that direction.

I will say, I found it a bit suspicious or strange-- being the normal time for the children to be dropped off was between 6:30 - 7:00, she(childcare worker) then calls SP's cell, and checks (calls) for them both at work, goes to the house, and then calls Jen/Terrica, then returns to their home, and then calls Mr. Cox...and it is 10 AM before LE is called in a possible CO2 situation?

It really sounds like strong strong evidence with the blood, the couch/carpet or whatever, JP's sudden need to leave after midnight to go camping in freezing cold and snowing weather, Josh is obviously not a good liar, no award, nor SP's, all suspicions do fall on them, the boys comments, drawings, the witnesses statements coming out, Washington State coming out via the news (I read it was from the state of WA about SP's call into work) with strong statements towards WVC PD, even Minn. revealing MP's investigation. What do our forum lawyers have to say. I would appreciate what has been released, although small, is all this hearsay? Is there anything that would hold up in court like the blood evidence, the bizarre family, the friends speaking out, the motel worker? Or should I take WVC PD for it's word when Charlie & Braden were murdered, that they were close to charging Josh? I remember watching Buzz say he felt all of the investigation would be let out within a few months the night or next day after the boys were pronouced dead. Garh...rip little guys. He changed his tune the day after that or the state did.

I think there is something strange about this news. One chanel here in Utah was reporting that Anne said that Steve came out at Thanksgiving (2 weeks before she disappeared) *nd another chanel said the "same time" (inferring the day after though) she disappeared. This is a huge difference. I think he took the 2 days after off of work as previosly reported. This makes sense and follows the evidence of Josh driving towards Idaho - likely to meet his dad 1/2 way.

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping the excellent skills of all of you here can you help me find something. I've searched...in vain. I am hoping you can help me find this.

I remember a recent news story (recent being sometime in the last 4-6 months) about a woman who came forward, claiming to have seen both Josh AND Steve Powell in the Topaz Mountain area in the summer or fall of 2009. She claims that they were rude/angry about her noticing them or trying to speak to them, from what I can remember.

Can anyone help find the source for this? I did a search and this blog is the only thing I came up with, but I've never read this particular blog entry before today and I know it's not where I first saw it:

Among the new information detectives have received lately: A hotel worker in Sandy, Utah, 17 miles south of Salt Lake City, told them Josh Powell and the boys showed up for a continental breakfast the day Susan Powell was reported missing.

The worker, Robin Leanne Snyder, 53, oversaw the free breakfast for guests at the Comfort Inn there. She called a tip line set up by police after Susan Powell's disappearance began to make news, but at the time, she never heard back, she said.

"Charlie looked right up at me and he says, 'Do you know what happened to my mom?' So I say, 'No, what happened to your mom?"' Snyder told The Associated Press on Tuesday.

No, it wasn't Robin's tip...it was a woman who remained anonymous but said she saw Josh and Steve out in the desert near Topaz Mountain a couple of months before Susan disappeared.

SuziQ....we did not search in the Topaz Mountain area, so we are not the ones you're referencing. We searched south east and east of there and north of SLC. I have an idea who you mean and I will see if I can get the info.

The siting I referenced in that post happened prior to Susan going missing and was in the canyon above Tooele. I'm still curious if josh ever took the boys in the canyons above Tooele, as are some other posters.
