Now, let's be realistic.
How many "I'm sorry, but I don't recall," or "I have tried to remember that happening, but I'm just drawing a blank," or "I have no memory of anything like that -- I'm being totally honest with you," or similar, do you think we will hear? It may be an honest answer from one of them, but if we hear it from all of them, it will jog the hinky meter a bit, doncha think? I'd bet money on it.

Maybe if the FBI agent hooked them up to their version of a hinky meter, it might turn out differently.
I also wonder if the FBI will be allowed to use a lie-detector.
JMHO.
So far, IIANM, CF is the only one in this thing to have taken a lie detector test, which, in her case showed no evidence of lying.

If they are being asked about what happened 35 years ago, then why would it be surprising they don't recall? I don't remember in detail what I was doing 35 years ago. I have vague memories of going places but couldn't tell you who was there.

Of course his "drinking history" isn't part of the probe. It's laughable how some are fixated on teenage behavior in high school and in college decades ago.

I posted the scientific studies on teenage drinking, I think the science shows that alcoholism progresses as a disease, Therein lies the problem.

Exactly. That's why I believe Dr Ford suffered an assault. I'm just not sure if she has identified the correct assailant. JMO

I don't care about anybody's drinking history as long as it isn't done on the job and doesn't affect his job. What is more important to me is Judge K's current job performance and the views of his peers and subordinates.

If you had been assaulted even over fifty years ago as I was , I remember. I did not know the boy. I remember nothing before or after. No drinking on my part. Have no idea about the boy. I was merely walking down the street by myself at night

Alcoholism is a horrible disease, It affects everyone in the alcoholic’s sphere. Out of control teenage drinking is a big predictor of adult issues for drinking.

Maybe because I am from Minnesota which is something like number three in the US for people with alcoholism. I know so many people whose lives have been affected by it, You heard Senator Amy Klobucher from MN say her father has it.

It affects the children who learn shame from it Then the shame leads to other problems. Very strange disease if anyone cares to read about it.

That was the story put out there by some Republicans and it spread as it was meant to do.
Also what happened to the two guys that the Republicans were in contact with that said they may be the guilty party?
The Democrats said they hadn't been informed about the two guys until the media reported the story 12 hours before Ford was to testify.
Anyone heard anything more about the two guys?
Also wasn't it a Republican blogger that blogged about a Kavanaugh look a like that was actually a friend of Ford. Story later retracted by blogger. IMO

Dream on. So many men I have talked to are insulted by him and the Republican attitude about sexual assault. They resent being put in the same category as BK. They wish he would slink away

To be honest as far as I can tell Dr Ford believes everything she has said is true. I have no reason to believe she is purposely lying.

But with her poor memory, which includes problems remembering recent important events, I can not use her testimony to alter my opinion on the confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh. JMO

Alcoholism is a problem, and the worst are "functional drunks", because their tolerance for alcohol levels increases over time. They refuse to acknowledge the problems, and I truly believe that when a person gets one DUI, he/she has been drunk driving for years. Many in the "old boys network", don't even get ticketed for DUI, they will get a traffic warning, if that.
