Peterson declined to comment on his old boss' claims. Peterson said he has received eight death threats from all over the country from people who blame him for all of the negative attention brought upon Bolingbrook.

Poor Drew P :D :
from the above link

LOL, I wonder if those death threats were in the form of "I know how to make your death look like an accident" or "I can make you disappear and never be found"?

He can track the calls that were death threats but not where Stacy (supposedly) called from??? As if people from all over the country give a hoot about the media attention in Bolingbrook.

And uh, he IS to blame for the negative attention. I'm sure most of the country had never heard of Bolingbrook til this happened. He's becoming a media wh:mad:re.

I love all the little sarcastic comments thrown in with info today!

I also think Greta just wants the interview with DP. I'd be faking it too if I were her!

Shoot, I can't remember DrewP's lawyer's name, but he was on Dan Abram's show tonight. That show doesn't repeat, so I didn't get to see anything but the goodbye's! I didn't expect him to be on THAT show. Maybe they'll air video online of that segment. That will be MSNBC, and I think it's the Dan Abrams Show. (?)

I didn't watch it either, but someone on Greta said Dan called Drew a Jack*ss or something like that.

Police board can't take action against Peterson

Bolingbrook's Board of Fire and Police Commissioners announced Tuesday night that because Drew Peterson submitted his unconditional resignation last week, they no longer have the authority to pursue any disciplinary action against him.

snip...According to the release, the Illinois courts have held that a police officer's resignation that is unconditional is effective immediately, "and that the Board does not have any further jurisdiction regarding his employment. The criminal justice system now has jurisdiction over this matter."

And a Ky TV station gets an interview with Drew P.

"If you heard this stuff about you, as an outsider, what would you think?" asked Pinto.

"I'd look at me as a bad guy, basically I'm a good person. I do good things," Peterson said

And there appears to be some trouble brewing

Drew Peterson's attorney says you won't be seeing his client on the news so much if he has anything to say about it.

Joel Brodsky says he doesn't like his clients talking to the press.

I hope that Drew is taking all of the children out of the house for Thanksgiving at his brother's or his Mom's. The little guys need to get out and be around family and friends..I'm sure they find it unusual to be cooped up inside all day..I don't think Stacy did that ..she seemed the type of Mom to have them outside playing and out and about with her.

Drew as far as I know still only has his bike for transportation since both vehicles were hauled away.

I wonder if DP's family will come to his place to prepare a dinner? Probably not due to the media, so hopefully all four kids will be with family elsewhere.

I found a link about Cushing Field where Drew is reported to have kept his ultralight. It appears to be fairly close to Bolingbrook about 34 miles with a driving time of about an hour.

The below orig posted by Chicoliving in the Media link thread.

Police say evidence of possible job-related crime may jeopardize Peterson's pension
Investigators probing the disappearance of a former Bolingbrook police sergeant's wife and the mysterious death of his third wife have uncovered evidence of possible unrelated crimes that could jeopardize his $72,000 pension, the Illinois State Police captain in charge of the case said Wednesday.

Meanwhile, a special grand jury heard testimony from a man who said he exchanged "flirty" text messages with former Sgt. Drew Peterson's wife, Stacy Peterson, before her Oct. 28 disappearance.

...and the walls come crumbling down.

My heart goes out to all the families and friends who have or had DrewP in their lives. It had to be a living nightmare before all this, and now it most certainly is.

I think he's prepared for an arrest because he knows all that's out there in his past. He know's he's guilty.

Interesting that in the past couple of days Drew states he prepared to go to jail. Somehow I don't think he's worried about Stacy and Kathleens cases. I think he's more worried about the work related info.

I can't help but wonder if Stacy was aware of his (alleged) crimes and if that has something to do with her disappearance. :waitasec:
