Suspect Drew Peterson #2

You know as Drew gets more relaxed he is really showing his true colors. A remark like that to the heavyset photographer about his weight is really the type of remark a bully would make. That's how I think Drew operated by bullying and intimidation, throw in the cop uniform, the gun and a billy club and he pretty much was used to always having his own way. He is showing just how mean of an SOB he could be.

Too bad for Drew that Sharon and Cassandra weren't intimidated by him.

I had an interesting talk today with my niece who lives up in Chicago, I asked her what her thoughts were on Stacy's disappearance and couldn't believe it when she said she didn't think he necessarily had anything to do with it!

She then admitted to not really following the case, had only heard a few things on the radio. Well, after I filled her in on everything I could think of about the case I am happy to say she now thinks he deffinatly has a lot to answer to.
I don't know what I would have done if she still thought he was innocent after I'd filled her in. VB

If DP is arrested and charged, he will have difficulty getting a fair trial with all the media coverage. DP probably has his fans.

I just got word from OTR Producer Steph Watts in Bolingbrook, Illinois that he and Mark Fuhrman have just gottn a very, very, very important scoop!
What is it? I will let one of them tell you….at 10pm eastern tonight ….ON THE RECORD…..and, after you hear this, you tell me, am I right? is this a big deal in the investigation?

I think once LE has all the proof, plus Stacy's body, plus his work info, plus Kathleen's info all lined up nice and pretty they are going to zing Drew with everything they have from work inproprieties, to Kitty and Stacy's murders, to whatever else this guy had his hands in..payoffs, drugs, lots of interesting things.

I am syrprised that they are interviewing his 14 year old..that seems like he is so young now and would have been much younger when this took place with Kitty. But he may have lots to add about Uncle Thomas and Dad carrying things from the house on that fateful Sunday evening.

I wonder if Drew will accompany him to the GJ and be allowed to sit in while he testifies..that would assure his childs silence I would think..it's just creepy to think that this young man has to testify if his Dad is sitting there.

Delta, good question about Drew sitting in on the Grand Jury. I can relate personal experience with a depo my kids had to attend. I was allowed in. I hope that is not the case with the grand Jury.

IIRC, the Grand Jury didn't get to Drews brother and one of his sons. So maybe they will today?

Also, the fake call made while the brother-in-law had Stacy's phone was made near Steve Rosetto's house.

If these things are true, it's not looking good for DP.

If it does come down like this, I'm sure DP will have a good story - Stacy was probably PMSing or something and lied to the priest - we'll see what the suntimes comes out with tomorrow.

I think that a priest is compelled to reveal a confession if it is about murder, isn't he? I certainly hope that this is true.

Of course, Drew is going to say that Stacy never visited a priest. Would she be out of her mind to tell him that she went to confession to confess his sins? I hope that the priest got more details from Stacy, like why she suspected this. I'm not Catholic. So, I'm not sure if priests hold conversations or if they just listen.

I would love to have seen Drews face the minute he found out about Stacy's confession. He can say all he wants. But a jury is going to believe a priest over him.
