Or refer to Snicker :D

I think you and I are about the only ones here that don't have cable :)

Snicker, he or she, is great.

My son and I just don't watch that much TV. I'd rather read and he'd rather be digging a fort in the field. And I live within site of the TV towers here. Soooooo, I have a nifty huge antenna in my garage rafters that works great. I hooked it up to the main cable that internally runs to all the rooms in my house. I estimate I save 600.00 a year. That will buy or rent alot of movies and books. However, I would really really love to be able to watch Greta, Abrams, etc.

Gotta ask..Brodsky is divorced from the first wife with the kids due to the incident with the gun and Swat Team? So the new wife..is she the same women we see on his website as his assitant? Young women ..to be married to a 50 something man..and now she is reading Greta the riot act?

The woman on his website is his partner, Odeh. And I wonder if his assistant is the same wife from the Jerry Springer marriage or a newer model?

A corrupt cop is every honest cop's worst nightmare.

"Any cop who screws up, it embarrasses all of us," Bradley Police Chief Don Kufner said.

"You're painted with the same brush," echoed Bradley Deputy Chief Steve Coy.

"We're judged by one," said Chief Deputy Ken McCabe of the Kankakee County Sheriff's Police. "If you have one person doing the wrong thing, it reflects on all of us."

That is why local police officers, just like their brethren in blue across the country, are warily watching the scandal surrounding Drew Peterson. A veteran cop, Peterson resigned from the Bolingbrook Police Department last month as the search for his wife, Stacy Peterson, made headlines. Peterson, 53, is a suspect in the woman's October disappearance.

Drew Peterson also took exception with a story supposedly spread by Stacy's half-sister, Cassandra Cales, about his firing a gun through the floor and into the garage, the bullet narrowly missing his wife.
"It wasn't shots, it was a shot, and it wasn't me, it was Stacy," he said when asked whether he fired shots in his home.

"It was an accidental firing," Peterson said. "It was a stupid thing."

Cales first reported the shooting Oct. 29 while meeting with police to report Stacy missing, said Bolingbrook Police Chief Ray McGury.

"That was the first time that was reported to anybody," McGury said, adding the information prompted Bolingbrook police to launch their own departmental investigation of Drew Peterson.

Peterson never reported the August shooting, though department policy required him to tell police, McGury said.

"My investigation commenced on that issue that morning," McGury said. "I had some deep concerns."

Peterson abruptly retired from the department last month. He was facing disciplinary action -- possibly including suspension or firing -- for that alleged policy violation and for other issues, McGury said.

So now we know what the disciplinary action was all about.

You know what else doesn't work with this "it was Stacy" tale? If it really had been Stacy you can bet the whole world would have heard about it from his big mouth, because he would have thought it was funny. It would have been horrifying and probably embarrassing to Stacy (if she did it) and he would have loved rubbing that in publically and privately. :loser:

Sorry, Drew. Not buying this one either.

It just doesn't make sense that if it was Stacy and she was embarrassed about it, that she would tell her sis and even go so far as to show her the bullethole. Why would she even bring it up- then blame it DrewP? And why would DrewP not report it to police, when he would know it could affect his job if it ever came out?

No the whole "Stacy did it" story doesn't pass the smell test.

Drew is also now claiming that the gun was Stacy's gun that he bought her for Valentine's Day, because according to Drew Stacy was really into guns..and he goes on to say that it was their little joke that nothing says lovin like a Glock...right..I 'm sure Stacy asked for a gun for Valentines Day! not

Pam Bosco says that if that is true where is the paperwork and permit showing her as the owner of the Glock? Good question Pam.

I am really getting awfully worried now that the Stacy Peterson disappearance can turn into another Lisa Stebic disappearance. Nearly seven weeks have gone by since Stacy went missing --- and I really thought someone would be behind bars by now. I just can't believe that even a 29 year veteran of the police force could outwit the Illinois State Police and the FBI, but...... The only thing keeping hope in my heart is that it took a long, long time for Scott Peterson to be apprehended, too, and hopefully, this is just another similar situation.....???? Please, somebody, give me hope that this matter will be solved with the guilty person accused and charged and punished ----- not just another unsolved case.

As soon as the GJ has all the evidence they feel they need..which generally is very little compared to a regular jury..he will be indited on the murder of Kathy and the death of Stacy..through probable cause. That will put him behind bars, but he has alot of money and knows others with money and power in that community..so they need to have their ducks in a row so that bail is so high he can't pay it or no bail. No bail is unlikely at this point unless they find Stacy's body..which is what they are working on right now. I pray she is found soon so that her family can have her body returned to them and start the greiving process. Also that would call for removal of the minor children to another relative or the state.

I think you are probably right that the authorities are looking at two murders, not one. I still worrry about their effectiveness --- can't help it.

I feel very much the same as you do. I was however wondering today if the reason he hasn't been arrested is because they are waiting until after Christmas for the children's sake.
I don't think they will ever find Lisa Stebic. I truly believed that CS used chemicals to hasten the destruction of body tissues. I have prayed about this a lot. I think it's a real sad thing that Craig Stebic appears to have gotten by with murder.

He won't when he faces the Ultimate Judge.

You know, truer words have never been spoken. I am no longer a youngster myself, and I have come to believe that "what goes around comes around" and that you will never fool the man in the sky.

I totally agree EL..but sometimes I get impatient waiting,LOL:angel:
That's the reason I started posting again today. I am the ULTIMATE LURKER! I love to read what everyone's writing and thinking, but I am reluctant to contribute. Now I am IMPATIENT ---- as if that could ever make a difference. Get going LE!

I think that they are moving at the rate they can according to what evidence they have.

I do not feel they would purposely wait through Christmas Holidays for the children. For the Children the best thing would be to go to some loving relative or close friends for the holidays..Drew seems like he is so self absorbed he wouldn't even know how to properly prepare for the holidays..everyone else has always done that for him.

Is it possible that Drew could have taken his plane somewhere that day? I heard he has one of those tiny aerolights - hardly a plane! Do you have to file a flight plan for that? would someone notice it taking off?

I'm wondering if he didn't just ask Stacy to go for a little ride, and then did the whole barrel thing as a distraction. Or, alternatively, she was IN the container/barrel and he flew somewhere remote at night and dumped her there.

Can one of those planes carry a container of that size?

Drews plane is a kite with a lawnmower engine. The weather has to be asbolutely perfect to take it up. IMO, the plane doesn't have as much to do with this case as much as where the plane was kept.
