This is a good source of information, thank you.

ETA from the above link. BBM

“Immediately after discovering the infant, investigators started looking for the baby’s family and

  • soon learned the four relatives had not been seen since the night before, Goodman said.
  • Then a relative called 911 after finding two vehicles in a remote area.
  • The four bodies were found in nearby woods, Goodman said.”

I am wondering what information made them name the suspect.

Did a family member name him? Were there threats made that made them suspect?

According to this article from NBC News, the sister-in-law of the grandmother didn't suspect anything.
"Yes, he was close to our family,” the post says. “Yes, we cared about him and thought he cared about us. He has literally been nothing short of amazing to us and our kids every time he has been around us up until this point.”

So what would lead to the police naming him as a suspect? His background?

There's something they're not saying, IMO.

he went to jail for stealing $44 from a 7-11 and wound up serving 13 years. He is bad at crime.
He was almost beaten to death last time he was in jail, this time he will be sentenced to death.
He will be caught this weekend right?

This story is absolutely wild looking on social media (and it’s shocking how much people share online). Very tragic.

Speculation is rampant, but my guess is that some of that speculation is, in fact, going to play out as accurate. We just have to get it to msm.

I posted without reading forward. I see there is a suspect who has been named.

Still confused about how the suspect got four people in two different vehicles to travel over 40 miles away to kill them. Did he act alone?
I Don’t get it either

The coverage of this case is frustrating and the authorities closed-mouth about almost everything. We just have to wait until the capture of this suspect.
I hope that happens soon.

They have him cornered in some woods.

He will be found soon IMO and I worry for the officers looking for him! As many have said in this thread, he has nothing to lose right now.

Officers keep themselves and each other safe. It's the general public and local residents who are at risk, most especially anyone vulnerable, elderly, or alone.

All he's got to do is force or menace his way into someone's home and that'll keep him covered and catered to for a while. If they've found his vehicle, he's probably already done that and taken their vehicle. I really hope not but it's the next logical move.

The TBI is absolutely the worst when it comes to locking down case details. No comments, pressors in most cases. Really frustrating!

but one man shares his concern for his daughter as she’s been residing with Drummond and her mom since Drummond’s release from prison in 2024.

“I’ve been terrified, you know, just not knowing what my daughter’s had to go through, what she’s had to see, just not knowing if she’s safe.”

– Kade Butler, father to the daughter of Kaitlyn Speed–who officials say was in a relationship with Drummond at one point, though it is unclear if they are still involved with one another.

I hope he doesn't evade capture like the maniac who killed his young daughters then went into survivalist mode in the wilderness.
What's wrong with Tennessee authorities that they can't track this man down? Is he that clever, or are they just not very competent?

A far out idea here, maybe, but what if some cartel or gang came to execute everyone and the current suspect (AD) somehow managed to flee, rescued the baby, dumped it, and is now on the run and in hiding?

Anything is possible, there's not much to go on at this stage
