SUSPECT IN CUSTODY TN - 4 people found deceased, related to an infant abandoned in car seat in someone's yard (Dyer County, TN) 29 July 2025

I'm most interested in the news reports (which I've read) that 'a family member found the cars and called 911'. I've been looking for a direct quote from the DA, TBI, et al about this. Otherwise, I'm thinking that a journalist took the liberty to say this and other reporters ran with it. Sadly, I've read a lot of terrible journalism on this case--misinformation, confusing vernacular, and suppositions stated as fact. If anyone has a direct quote, please post the link. I'm not trying to say it's not true; it's just a long way away from the victims' homes and not likely that a relative would be driving down Carrington Road in Lake County TN unless....well, I won't say why right now. Thanks for any info on this!
As someone mentioned upthread, it could’ve been as simple as a family member locating them via the Find My Friends app or other similar location sharing app (Life360, etc.). It could’ve even been SnapChat.

I'm still a lil confused. So he is accused of going after his gf/wife's sister and their kids right? So where is she and her kid? This is the same woman that was the prison guard? I'm a bit perplexed why they were targeted, it seems like any anger would have been on his partner.
She could be in protective custody. She might have been given a choice of jail time for being involved with a criminal or an opportunity to help with an investigation.
If that is the case, he might have retaliated against her family.

these twits fancy themselves big time gang bangers. They prize loyalty to fellow bangers above all else. They're stunted emotional and morally. They need no excuse beyond that.
Their "loyalty" then flies out the window when faced with spending most of their remaining life in prison.
Turn, turn, then turn again.

imo

This is a good visual for the area from WBBJ in Jackson TN.

They were found close to the prison. Could they have been there to pass along drugs to someone who worked at the prison? The sister might not have been the only guard involved with a prisoner.

He looks just like the nurse killer Richard Speck.
Cold, empty eyes.
He looks mean.

Beyond comprehension why anyone woul help a murderer.
MOO but since this appears to have a gang connection, I'm not sure if anyone is "choosing" to help out of the kindness of their heart.

This is a recent article about retaliation and Vice Lords in Tennessee.

This is an article from last year.

Is this not how gangs work? They were all violent gang members, not "normal" guys.

Hoping no LE/innocent civilians are harmed when he's captured.

NEW: TBI just arrested a THIRD person for allegedly helping Austin Drummond. He is still on the run.

Dearrah Sanders is charged with Accessory After the Fact to First Degree Murder.

Drummond is wanted for the murders of four people and abandoning a baby on a strangers lawn.

My money is on the perp(s) dropping her off to spare her life.

If the adult victims had decided to drop the baby somewhere in an attempt to save her, the mother of the 15-year-old (baby's grandma) would have almost certainly pushed him out of the car as well and told him to run and take the baby somewhere safe.

Google AI says Tiptonville (where the victims were found) has "had a number of drug-related incidents over the past few years."

Meth is apparently a thing there. Manufacturing and distribution. And cocaine. And fentanyl.

If AI is to be believed.
Meth is apparently a big problem in small, southern towns. And since they've said this Drummond is in a gang, that makes it seems even more likely that drugs were involved somehow. At least to me.

About this latest arrest... it's not worth the $$$ to make dangerous choices and mingle with criminal-minded people.
Ugh.

And it appears that she has young kids. 😭
Make better choices, people.
Omo.

here's what I see in Madison county for her:

Madison County - Case Search

Looks like some credit issues and maybe an eviction is all I can really see. only one open case and that seems to be a creditor suing her.

What would she get out of helping him?

These people are total losers and it's sad that little children are left behind as mama goes to prison for 20 years.
And does it appear that the little girl in the rear of the cover photo is flashing a gang sign?!
Dear Lord, how many people are helping this vicious killer?!

Little daughter seems to be flashing a gang sign, or am I imagining things?
