This is local San Antonio news; hope it’s ok as a source.

Brad Simpson asks courts to see kids amid search for Suzanne Simpson

This part of the article is music to my ears. May justice be swift!

Should the case continue under Judge Lira, it should move relatively quickly. The Bexar County judge has continuously pushed for speedier trials and court proceedings, calling for innovation and systematical change in the courts to address the "backlog of misdemeanor domestic violence cases."

Don’t disagree here @PommyMommy …… but it seems they need to find SCS remains. And the other charges allow him to be held while that is ongoing.

Unless and until they can find SCS doesn’t seem that a rush would be ideal. IANAL but in certain locales I believe there are timelines for prosecutions of certain charges. And time can be a mortal enemy if a case doesn’t have all the details needed to prosecute. So IMO no rush or need for anything swift…… until they can find the necessary evidence. And once and if that occurs….. then they can go full steam and bore. MOO

Of course! Finding Suzanne is priority #1. I should have made that clear and I thank you for pointing it out.

Do we have the address where Cotter was arrested?

Were any recovered weapons fired (say- about almost 11 times)

GSR tests performed for either arrested individual and all family members done?

Mighten’ a body have been “disposed” of closer to Cotters house than Olmos Park?
(and is that along the route to the Towers Shopping where/next to which the LE originally had reason to search)?
Hmmm.

I think he may have confirmed that she is dead. If he’s getting rid of evidence, it stands to reason Brad told him what it was for. I think they’ll flip him and he’ll be a major part of any murder charges.
Just catching up on this case and the Cotter arrest. And jumping off MassGuy's post...
I think they'll get Cotter to flip as well. It's just not a 'good look' to be standing by a guy who highly likely brutally killed his wife.
Dear Cotter: Don't be a 'bro'. Be a good person. See the light. What would your mother want you to do?

I just hope he does know something that can help.

I also think they’ve gotta interview all parties involved, past business partners, parties involved in current lawsuits, etc…. Hope a bit more is still known. Moo

A theory is just a theory.

28 Morning Green, San Antonio, TX 78257

is a (previous?) address listed for this bloke (BS's business associate and friend for 25 years)
which connects them to Dominion Golf Course (the house is on the Golf Course) and knowledge of the area (assuming BS visited and golfed with him there).

which would be another item of note for access to sewers on Leon Creek adjacent to the Dominion Golf Course (and BS being VP of Capital Well Service) and the appearance of short barrel rifles and a AK-47..... into the case...

just sayin'

There is. Associated with both BS & JC, but the father JFC (somehow, it still shows ties and mutual connection between JC (son) and BS)- on Mallory Lane in Dominion. Before the current owners (either bought in 19’ or 21’) it was under the ownership of JC and records show ownership was under “Cotter (House #) Mallory Trust). Tied to address 1802 NE Loop 410, which is where Cotter & Sons was located. Various businesses affiliations to the address, some of which were established by BS.

Cotter hid the weapons within his bedroom wall as a favor to BS. And Cotter claimed he was asked to pick up a .22 rifle. How is it that we are hearing of an AK-47 in this case lately?

I've been wondering that too.

Cotter was really stupid to lie to police.
He was arrogant and thought they wouldn’t find the hidden gun.
They have their ways.
Now he’s in a lot of trouble.
I don’t think Cotter knows anything about what happened to Suzanne or where she is.
I don’t think BS has shared details with anyone.
IMHO
