I don't know why it popped in my head to search the name of the associate but this morning it came to me and bam. Literally 5-6 minutes outside of Bandera, and the owners don't live there full time so very easily he could have accessed it. On a side road off the main highway...ugh I just pray they find her soon...its raining here today and getting chilly this week. That sweet mama shouldn't be out there in this.Thank you detective BrokebbSATX… doing God’s work
I'd be interested to see that, was it on this thread? I'll go looking for it if soI ran across a news video early on in this investigation that was basically a reporter giving updates on the investigation and searches. The news crew was outside the Bandera ranch property, and said they had tried to interview a woman in the home on the property and that she would not speak with them. In the background while this reporter was speaking a tractor was driving around and looked to be scraping or moving dirt around on the driveway out infront of the property. If this was the Simpson ranch home or property, I think this was odd that the dirt was being moved around. It would be interesting to know who was driving that tractor. Did anyone see this newscast?
FYI..this was prior to the Cotter arrest.
Is it the one that’s 143.4 acres? So it’s off Stevens Ranch Rd on the left heading to Kerrville.
Well that’s rather unsettling… mooI ran across a news video early on in this investigation that was basically a reporter giving updates on the investigation and searches. Yes and another 2 ac with house/well/septic is within that 143ish ac.Is it the one that’s 143.4 acres?
Anyway from records or Google maps to tell how big the well is or how old the septic system is?Yes and another 2 ac with house/well/septic is within that 143ish ac.
Great question...diving into that nowAnyway from records or Google maps to tell how big the well is or how old the septic system is?
Thanks!Great question...diving into that now![]()
Ok, I think I’ve found out. Looks like there used to be a pond that’s dried up except for the very center of it. I hope that they look in the sewer and water well that you mentioned. Do you have access to the Texas GIS and property data website (it says the cost to look at bandera counties info- including oil and well information- is $275)Yes and another 2 ac with house/well/septic is within that 143ish ac.
Typical water wells in this area the borehole is no wider that 3-5 inches and you would have to pull all the pipe requiring a rig. Nearly impossible to hide a body in a typical modern well out here. Septic, possible but that would require fresh digging and pulling the lid which most are concrete and heavy. Hard to hide due to the proximity of septic close to house and easily seen disturbed ground with little search effort.Anyway from records or Google maps to tell how big the well is or how old the septic system is?

I looked on BCAD for the property data and pulled the GIS map from there, with lot lines and such but in the data there aren't dates for when the well/septic were installed nor when the house was built.Ok, I think I’ve found out. The video early on with Sig C. At Simpson property in Bandera.
Of course! It's just frustrating knowing what to look for and where but smaller counties/cities/entities just aren't as electronic yet with their online records and such.Thank you for looking
When I get back in town going to take a drive down Stevens Ranch Road. Curious about any gates towards the end of road leading into a big expanse of land which could be navigated easily in a truck. Does the 143 ac property continue where Stevens road ends?Of course!
