Sweden Herald: Man arrested for 2005 double murder in Brattås

It's not the first time swedish police has used geneology to solve unsolved murders, and I am myself happy it's being used more. Another famous case that was solved by geneology was the 2004 case of another double murder, that time in Linköping.

A 45-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a high-profile double murder in Brattås in 2005. He was identified after DNA-based genealogy was used in the investigation.
