Thanks for the reply, Dave. I was not "all worked up." You wondered why I didn't reply to your request and I gave you that information, in terms that should clarify for anyone who wondered why on a Thursday afternoon I didn't respond to your challenge. The tone of your last sentence in this post may explain why you were misunderstood; it could be read as a shot at my reading ability (which is pretty funny considering what I do for a living.) I am sure, though, that you didn't mean it that way. And I do appreciate those who reassure me that we are all friends, although a re-read of yesterday's posts doesn't feel friendly in the least to me. I will take you all at your word, however, so long as we don't go down yesterday's road again.

One thing you learn when you study reading is that all texts are open to multiple interpretation. See, for example, the work of Louise Rosenblatt, Robert Probst, Mike Rose and Glynda Hull, Wolfgang Iser, etc. You are entitled to your reading and you have explained how you arrived at it. My own reading stands.

Maybe you need to read the posts again. :waitasec: And there were no "two different statements by LE" and never was the word "cleared" used. Unless someone can deliver a quote like that from LE, they shouldn't say one exists.

This whole issue really is not difficult - in fact it couldn't be more clear. Don't put words in LEs mouth.

...But as we've seen lately, especially from TN last night on NG, smoke and mirrors appear to be a favorite tactic to mislead.... Luckily, not all of us are so easily befuddled.

Speaking of which, has no one mentioned in this thread the problems with the things TN said last night? e.g., that whole blaming of Misty's lawyer, and even saying she wished Misty's lawyer had dragged her to LE 6 months ago? :crazy: Seriously?

Did Misty even have a lawyer 6 months ago to drag her to LE?
If she didn't then what TN states is inconsistent.
Anybody know when Misty acquired a lawyer? 6 mos. ago would of been the beginning of April.

No I don't think she did have a lawyer 6 months ago, I think they were only for guilty people back then. I don't think TN has much problem with misleading information being thrown out there, she sat right there with NG last week and didn't clear up the Misty being MIA story. I guess if mistruths/inconsistencies support her agenda, they are OK. IMO

No, I did not wonder why you did not reply, and in no way shape or form is this what I said or implied. My statement was that none of the people that replied had answered the question.

As far as your reading ability, I am sure that is fine. I will keep my opinion to myself as to comprehension though.

My bad, I thought I heard Teresa say on NG the other night that Ron and Misty were living with her...guess they are both with Teresa's mom. I guess my point was that I do not understand the family taking Misty in with open arms when she refuses to talk to LE. The excuse that she is waiting on her attorney's approval, to speak to LE, is beyond unbelievable. But...she is still under their roof all cozy and warm....give me a break !

Let me be clear: Based on what I have read, I don't think Ron Cummings is a suspect. That is my reading of the Sheriff department's press release. You all are entitled to your own opinion.

What I dont understand, is Rons own lawyer has said he is not cleared, and some just choose to ignore it- I just dont understand it- is it if some ignore it, its not real or something?

Nancy said it, Teresa didn't correct it, but the producer (Maria?) made the verbal correction that Teresa didn't and said they were living at GGM's house.

Speaking of Teresa...she and Ron now have Misty (Mrs. can't pass a polygraph) living with them in their home. I don't much care what is being said about who's been cleared or not, I do find it very odd that this trio is under the same roof. There is just something not right with that.

This totally confuses me. I don't understand Teresa taking in Misty. Why are they so nice to her? Also, when they talk about the person that took Hayleigh, they ALWAYS say 'they'...never 'he' or 'she' singular. JMO

I sure as heck hope Crystal is aware of where Ron is staying with Jr.. If it's in that tiny trailer on Rita...very bad, imo. Too small, too uncomfortable for all the tensions.

However, a Fruitland Park addy has been kicked around a lot-- is this a more generous home, perhaps?

Wouldn't Ron have to notify Crystal and the court record of a move with Jr.?

Do you REALLY think that either PCSO, FDLE or the FBI could NOT have had those phone records by February 10th, February 11th at the very latest? They were all on scene.

I bet you they had the phone records in February. What PCSO did or did not do is what is in question here. It appears as if nothing was done with the phone records - IMO.

They should have been scoured over 7 months ago. People should have been hauled in and questioned in detail - like they are doing NOW, thanks to the FDLE man on the case. IMO.

Just because no one did a thing (IMO) with the phone records does not mean they were not given to them. And if they were not provided by the family, all of those LE agencies had the power at the fingertips to get them. Let's be serious.

*FTR, I believe EVERYONE'S phone records should have been looked at back in February. SOP. Sadly, I think this aspect of the case was botched, and it is becoming apparent now. Again, IMO.

I guess I don't see it as botched. We don't know what PCSO questioned people on in Feb. I think this new guy is just doing his own, thorough, investigation, which could require getting the source material from the source. One reason to do that is to examine what it is that was given to PCSO early on, versus what is offered up now.

But I don't know how this is about TN.
