Bern,

Is the balloon release public ? Do you know the location ? tia

You know, I overlooked that fact. I assumed it would be a big, public event in order to draw lots of print and electronic media. It doesn't say where it will be held, though. Now, will this be the same day as the press conference in Orlando? Maybe that is where they will do it. I'm confusing myself now.

So when RC lived on Shoreline, TN was NOT living there, just renting it for him????

Are you saying that RN was residing in the MH on Rita and RC was living on Shoreline?

For some reason, I was under the impression that Shoreline was the place TN and her husband lived when they were together.

So RC moves from the MH in Pomona Park (Crescent City) and to Shoreline and TN moves Shorline to Pomona Park...

So RC lied to the judge about him living with TN on Shoreline...correct?

We was at his mother's old house and she lived on the canal and we were getting ready to leave.

Like most everything else in this case, it's not clear to me.

This was TN's "old house .....on the canal" - so TN definitely lived there. "We were getting ready to leave". Does this mean Ron, Crystal and the kids were going to their own place or that they were leaving for a day trip, afternoon outing, etc. It's not clear IMO.

Did Ron move back in to the Shoreline house after Crystal and he split up ? Don't know that either. Wasn't there an incident where Crystal went to pick up her things and the Cummings blocked her car in ? What house was that ? I thought AS' but I could be wrong.

See If I can write this more clearly....have no edit buttons.

1. At the time of the custody hearing, RC told the Judge he had JUST moved into Shoreline address. He stated his mom paid his rent. He also stated he had recently moved from (Pomona park/Crescent City). He called it "my home".

2. He stated his mother would be taking care of the children and his aunt would help so no problem with childcare at the Shoreline property.

3. He left the residence shortly after the filing and granting of custody and moved to many locations eventually moving to Green Lane.

4. Haleigh went missing and his mother now says she lives Pomona Park/Crescent City at same place RC moved out of three years ago.

_________
.,,this appears fishy RCmay have never lived with his mother on Shoreline and it was used for appearances' sake to win custody....OR Did he really live with his mother on Shoreline and they were still paying rent on an unoccupied MH in Pomona Park???

And how was it that TN moved back there to the same trailer RC vacated?....when she had a place on Shoreline in Satsuma close to the children? If she was looking for a place, wouldn't it make sense to move closer to where she works....Driving 110 miles a day for work would get old real fast....

-Balloons for Haleigh is on 8-17-2009 and the release will be at 2:16 pm. I never said there was a private release for anyone, however, I assumed that the Cummings would be doing a public release considering they were the ones to put their name on the organization of this event on the website. RC provided a personal statement there.

It is now come to my attention that there is a press conference scheduled for 10AM if I am not mistaken....so that would be a little early to anticipate they would be releasing the balloons at that press conference. I for one would love to witness this and i challenge all of you reading this post.....with the exception of those that feel balloons are a danger to the environment of course...I challenge the rest of you to join me in releasing at least one balloon. You can get the helium filled balloons at pretty much any dollar store for a dollar. You can print the flier off the balloons for Haleigh website..They are asking that you trim down the flier so that it will fly properly.

Take a picture of your personal release and upload to the website so everyone can see how much love there is for Haleigh in our country!

Very very short article, can we assume from that statement that TN gave that SHE asked for Nejames help? No I don't. Why isn't this child getting any press time. My heart is sick.

TN says, we hear he is very good-

So is Nejame going to represent Ron in his upcoming court cases?

I don't think we should jump to conclusions about anything right yet. Especially since the reason that TN states she contacted MN in the first place was to get Haleigh's name back in the news. We will just have to wait and see if he will be serving as defense attorney to anyone.

Balloon releases are nice, but to me they mean the soul (dead?) should fly free. Other than that I see no value at all in them. Maybe I'm a Scrooge, don't know, don't care. That is how I see it.

Or, one could see a balloon release wherein participants insert a flyer with a photo and information about a MISSING CHILD might be a creative way to get/keep the word out about Haleigh. Diff'rent strokes, I guess...

Yer not the Scrooge... I am: balloons are enviromental hazards to Florida's fragile eco-system and I have voiced my opinion before that I wish people would seek other event methods of honoring someone. But, to each their own...

But, back to Teresa... I am so glad that she is back in the forefront to find Haleigh. She's trying to bring attention to Haleigh so she can be found... that is all that counts...

I'm big on the environment, but one has to weight benefit against drawback. It's a publicity gimmick and has been reported on fairly widely by the media. Anything that draws attention to Haleigh is an asset to her cause.

ITA, and ITA with kamky on environmental issues. I also agree with me inasmuch as balloons fly free, ie, the soul flying free. However, when I lived in a totally rural environment, I did find balloons, years later in my hay fields, with no value at all. Who knows. To each their own, I guess. But, maybe if everyone THOUGHT about it, their own might change? It is a pretty gesture, but still, a gesture only.

My opinion only

Well I am glad TN has gotten NeJame And Miller in for Haleigh, thats what this is about Haleigh!
I hope some pressure starts happening now even if it is just from asking question, Le needs to start clearing people.

I wish the family would ask the public to donate money to the reward fund. If people don't want to risk giving money to the family because it won't benefit a search, give it to the reward fund. People are hard up and greed makes for a great motivator for someone to talk. Put up a bill board with some of that money they got for back support, seeing that reward in black and white may prompt someone to talk.

Good idea... greed can make mouths start talking... but if people do prefer to put money towards a search: now with TES is back on the scene people can donate directly through them and have a peace of mind that the monies are being used in the search.

  • #159
But wouldn't it be nice if someone TOLD you WHERE to search. Money talks.

  • #160
They may get more donations for searches now, since they can go to TES, although the public may have been turned off by the HBC issue.
