And how exactly was what Kim Picazio doing helping to find HaLeigh? Kim was NOT out there doing press to help find HaLeigh. Can we at least be honest, please? Kim was out there trying to slam Ron every time she opened her mouth (IMO). Can you find any videos of her speaking about HaLeigh, or how HaLeigh needed to be found? Those are the appearances Mark NeJames and Teresa are starting to do.

Talk about wasted time...UGH Whether KP was ultimately an asset or liability is not my call--but she got Haleigh's picture on TV--like the reasons or not AND she did speak about Haleigh...there are multiple links that prove that. Do I think she went about it the way I would have? NO--but she did a heckuva lot more to keep Haleigh's name out there than the paternal side and THAT IS THE TRUTH. All JMO

I don't think allowed is the right word. I think they were all asked not to speak to the media, one side honored that request and one side didn't. I think it reached a point where the Cummings family said enough is enough we are speaking out and taking some action. I am thankful that these steps were taken and Haleighs name is out there again and that searches will be done.

With all due respect, Busy...If the Cummings family are saying "enough is enough" as you put it, WHY aren't they saying "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH" to Misty? She is the one that LE wants to talk to. She is the one that was the last person to see Haleigh. She is the one with the inconsistencies that she won't clear up.
You're right. Enough IS enough. There is a little girl missing, and if TN and family want to DO something about that, they should look in their own backyard first--at Misty Cummings.

Sheffield says she’s tired of hearing rumors about the investigation being leaked out from inside sources. She believes maintaining a relationship with Picazio will do more to harm the case than help it.

I do believe Crystal actually spoke to the press about this issue, however I don't feel it's necessary to get the link to that. IMO, I feel that we all know what Kim did in this case, and it was not beg for HaLeigh's return. I can not think of even ONE interview with Kim where she spoke of HaLeigh only and the need for her to be returned home.

Kim claimed she was also out searching for HaLeigh. She was also listed as the registered agent on the HaLeigh Bug Foundation when it was set up. That was not changed until June 25th when it was switched into Marie's name. (Marie has always been listed as the President and Crystal the VP, but Kim was the registered agent). So, Kim has always been more involved than "children's issues"). She was active in issues involving HaLeigh being missing. Take a look in the PL for starters.

If enough is enough Busy and the Cummings are speaking out...I suggest the best thing to do would be to get their happy behinds over to LE and tell the truth. Mrs. Ronald Cummings with the help of the rest of the clan is stopping up the works and preventing HaLeigh from being found. Enough really IS enough and it's past time for them to stop the madness. JMO

By the post above, it is stating that Misty is not to blame. She would help if she could but she is not able to because she doesn't know anything. Even if she could help, it is hopeless. She knows nothing.

The Cummings family trusted LE and did as they were asked and kept quiet; I think this is the excuse for why RC didn't make any appearances on JVM. It is LE's fault that RC did not get to put Haleigh's name out there..

To place the blame of Misty not talking and RC not appearing in public on the LE is just not acceptable. LE would want them out there talking not hiding.

BTW..they are still hiding. RC, TN, and AS is keeping Misty under lock and key..makes most people want to know why.

And what other players are now being polyed....I have read nothing in the media about new polygraphs but would LOVE to have that information as I believe anything proactive by LE at this point is positive... TIA

IF it is true that they are giving other "players" polygraphs now, (and this is a complete assumption/unverified rumor since there is no evidence or statement of any kind that LE is doing this) once again, IF this were true, it would be very encouraging, because this routine process can be summed up in two words-----TRIAL PREPARATION! The prosecutor is going to have a list of "loose ends" that they want tied up all nice and pretty before they file charges. It prevents the defense from even beginning an attack on the evidence on the grounds that other POI's were not investigated. Sounds like great work on the part of the prosecutor and LE! IMOO

I recall some reports that there was a family member who was getting very frustrated at not being able to speak up about certain things, was going to allow 10 more days, and then was going to speak out. Looking back, this was just prior to the 6 month mark. At the 6 month time, LE finally started talking and released some information. Also, it was announced that Mark Nejame had been contacted by a family member and had engaged TES to return and do some searches. Thirdly, it was revealed that TN was the family member who had engaged Mark N. Putting this all together, it looks to me like:
1) LE had asked the family to give no or little information to the media, and the Cummings family complied.
2) TN told LE that at the 6 month point, she wanted further action to be taken and would start speaking up publically.
3) LE agreed, and at the 6 month point, they readjusted their strategy, released some information, and gave the ok for TN to contact Mark N.

I agree and as far as the silence by the Cumming's family, being SPECULATED by some here, having been the result of LE silencing them - I don't buy it! Since when does/has LE tell a family with a missing child not to speak of it publicly, pleeeeeeeeezzzzzzzz . . . Certainly they may have been asked not to disclose any details of the case but that should not have prevented (and IMO, didn't) them from continuing their public appeals/keeping HaLeigh's name out there - IMO, yet again, just another passing of the buck (blame, responsibility . . .) by the Cumming's family. MOO

Yes Cajun, and bbm, I believe it always was about custody. That family has been quiet since the announcement, which is odd, granny Marie usually can't do that, I suspect they are very unhappy. Jmo
