OT: Yesterday I kept getting an entry error, not a 404, when trying to load any WS page. Once back on board, now the pages take forever to load and continually jump around and won't reload. Anyone else experiencing the same?
From what the father said, it sounds like he bought the ticket before the parking lot incident. Agreed, once that happened, unless he had fake ID's or even a Russian passport, he would have had to cancel the reservation, anyway.I agree, but why did he buy the ticket in the first place. How did he think he could get there with no passport? My only thoughts are, he had plans to bribe someone to overlook the passport issue, or he had friends that could get him a fake passport??? Just thinking out loud trying to make sense of it all.

Thanks Nana, I couldn't remember who posted it. It seems to me this Orlando Todashev came to the US about 2008 and by 2011 was allegedly killing a fellow MMA boxer and friends.Thank You!!
Fake ID's I posted about fake ID's a while back remember the Boston brothers Amazon account was about making fake Id's and I think fake SS cards?

Do you remember the dates on the wish list for the books on fake IDs? I feel like that could be significant to all these loosely affiliated Chechen Boxers.
I think the ticket was purchased well in advance and is just a coincidence in this case. Generally, if you are flying internationally you book flights well in advance due to the lower expense of tickets. I think if he was actually planning on leaving permanently due to guilt he would have also tried to leave his residence in Orlando to another state (which he did not) or attempt to fly out of the country ASAP, instead of booking a flight out of the country in a month or two, its not like he booked a ticket to fly out the next day after reports surfaced the Boston bombings were potentially connected to the triple homicide. Anyone with a guilty conscience, knowing they were connected to TT, would attempt to fly out of the country ASAP within hours or go into hiding. Why he paid for a flight if he could not fly due to his bail conditions is still yet to be answered. Many unanswered questions. What I do think is, he has a very short temper, lost it, made a decision to attack those questioning him and it cost him his life. IMO
Thank You!!

"Todashev had been in the country since 2006"

I believe Tamerlan came here in 2004 per an interview he gave during the 'boxing' photoshoot.
It's far fetched to say a drug ripoff turned into a triple homicide where all victims were killed in the same manner, with substantial cash and drugs left at the scene. What are the circumstances behind the drug ripoff? We have read drug ripoff but there is no reasoning provided as to why and how exactly they were killed in the manner they were and why a call was placed to order take out food. All the details are blurry and blasé at the moment. It takes a lot for a murderer/s to kill 3 grown men in the same method and there not be enough evidence at the scene and investigation from LE at the time to investigate TT and this man at the time. The ball was dropped. IMO
How do you know that. He may have booked that far ahead. Or he waited a while thinking nothing would connect him to Tamerlan. It seems at some point the FBI may have started following him due to what IT apparently said during the May 4th incident, IIRC. So he may have booked a flight to Russia once he realized he was being followed/investigated. we don't know really when that was or when he may have started suspecting he was followed. If he was involved in the murders, then I'd think he'd quietly try to leave the country. I suspect he did not have a lot of money, his father said he had never really had a job, so he'd have to find a way to pay for a ticket - not cheap either. I think my version makes more sense.
Reports about the triple homicide being connected to TT circulated literally days after DT's arrest. If someone is trying to keep a low profile they would not be starting fights in parking lot. Anyone with a guilty conscience with direct connection to TT would be keeping their head low.. If he's Chechen (very small minority in USA), has ties to Boston and TT... Only days before Feds catch up to him to question him, even just to get an insight into TT. It doesn't make sense that you say he wouldn't have money to book a flight, because he did, and seemingly before MAY 4. A one way flight from Orlando to Russia is as little as $500US. IMO.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/23/ibragim-todashev_n_3324969.htmlTodashev was also arrested by Boston police in 2010 after a road rage encounter. Witnesses told police that he argued with two other drivers and cut them off with his vehicle. According to a police report, he yelled, "You say something about my mother, I will kill you."
We don't know the circumstances, but, as I've said, one theory is that there was a lot more drugs and money there and what was left was just a fraction to throw off an investigation. Someone on the Waltham thread that knew these folks thought the same also. That poster also thinks the 5k was left behind because they didn't see it.
My working theory is that TT and friends knew those murdered had the drugs and money (or whatever) and they possibly went to rip it off thinking no one would know, but something went wrong and they were found out. Although if IT did confess with the story he told, it could be he also lied and there was some other circumstances or motive.
And, there would probably be at least two or three murderers if IT was telling the truth.

The Boston Globe is quoting anonymous sources as saying that law enforcement officials are looking into whether the gun Tamerlan Tsarnaev used to allegedly kill MIT police officer Sean Collier was acquired from one of these three men killed in Waltham.

I would assume LE have more intelligence with this type of investigation to know what is left at the scene or is not left at the scene and why. Posters speculating, saying it was to throw investigators off, this is with clouded judgement due to all that's transpired. If they were familiar with these men, thought as much, they never came forward earlier in 2011? I mean, if that's their first thought, you would think skilled and experienced homicide detectives would be in tune to this too.
Definitely not stating IT is not involved, just very curious about the circumstances. Anyone being questioned by FBI would be feeling the heat and no doubt they manipulated their line of questioning as they did not have probable cause for an arrest. IMO

One day they started questioning us, next day after the bombing, not the bombing, after they found out the bombers were Chechnyans, and they started following us, watching us. They pretty much told the guy from his apartment and they start following us, watching us like every day, said Taramov.
He cancelled the tickets because, the FBI had been like, I dont know, theyve been pushing him, you know what Im saying. Theyve been pushing him they say 'dont leave, dont leave' so he decided to stay. But we had a feeling, worst case scenario something like that was going to happen. You know what I mean, said Taramov.
The FBI has confirmed that the man killed is Ibragim Todashev who lived at 6022 Peregrine Avenue.

Several media are reporting that Todashev implicated himself in that triple murder in Waltham which occurred on the 10th anniversary of 9/11. It was a particularly grisly murder three men were found with their throats slashed and marijuana and thousands of dollars in cash thrown onto their bodies.

With all due respect, you have no basis for saying posters have clouded judgment. We speculate here based on the best information available, but one person speculating about a theory was a seasoned detective. He said that was just one theory. It could be an afterthought of what witnesses thought about what happened or maybe they did tell investigators their thoughts back then. Of course, everyone is curious about what really went on.
Maybe if you want to argue your points you can go to the Waltham thread
