I am not implying that I do not think these are the guys. But (!) has anyone seen or have a link to actual video they say they have of him setting down the bag.????

How many thugs have you heard of throwing pipe bombs and homemade hand grenades at police? Would you not believe Jeff Bauman, who lost both of his legs, when he says the bomber looked directly in his face as he placed the back pack on the ground?

Yes, meaning not at the time of the bombing. Sometime in the past, they lived with her at the apartment, but then she went back home.

Ad at some point, Tamerlan's wife moved home to RI with her parents... Do we know for sure when her move to RI happened?

According to the lawyer, she moved back to her parents house after TT was killed. I think that neigbor's claim that she lived there for a year were not correct.

That is their evidence. It wouldn't be prudent to release that prior to questioning the suspect.

They also have eyewitness account from Jeff Bauman, that he made eye contact with #1 and watched him drop the bag.

Two different stories about where the wife lived. Her lawyer indicates she was still living with TT. A neighbor says she had moved home more than a year ago. So who knows at this point.

This is confusing to me as well. If all of this happened, how did he climb out of the boat? Plus the picture of him on the ground doesn't look like someone who shot himself in the mouth.

Does anyone know exactly how many people were injured in the attacks, all together? I know there were 4 murdered, but what is the complete total of all injured (including any from the Thursday/Friday events? I'm thinking about something and need to know the exact total.

Thanks...I appreciate it.

Yeah it does seem odd. Initially the pictures they released were VERY grainy and then later much better photos came out. Did they not have those good photos to begin with?

No they didn't. The clear pictures came from a private individual who gave them to the FBI AFTER the FBI released theirs. He saw the FBI pics and realized he had those same guys in a couple of his photos

I'm still blown away that the apartment wasn't deemed a crime scene. No yellow tape around it? So FBI gets in there on Friday and by Saturday and Sunday its free for anyone to go in and out? Maybe I watch too much TV,but don't they keep crime scenes restricted for a longer time period than a day? Where was the yellow tape and all that?

I beg to differ, respectfully. I think he (Tamerlan) was charismatic and dynamic and I'm very sure he influenced the younger brother and persuaded him to come on board. Johal is still a teenager, his brain isn't even fully developed yet, and very easily influenced.

Having said that I by no means think the younger one is a "sweet boy" or in any way less responsible for the crime than his older brother. Both are incredibly cruel and despicable human beings.

We've seen it many many times over that "nice" people harbour this deep hate, and slowly and quietly work towards satisfying these dark urges to kill. Just to add one more to the list: the leader of the group that planted the bombs in London in 2005, Mohammad Sidique Khan, was a learning mentor at a primary school and described as quiet and gentle. (And btw, he too was interviewed by MI5 prior to the attacks but deemed not a threat. Seems authorities can be fooled by these "nice guys" just as easily as the average citizen!)

Ah! Thanks for clearing that up, Sonya!

This makes it even less likely that FBI did not know their idendity when they released the photos on Wednesday. I'm sure now it was meant to scare them into making a mistake. And it worked.

I agree with this last point and I'm glad you said something. I highly doubt someone would remember his face from a routine interview a couple years ago. I'm sure the FBI interviews tons of people. At the time, they had no valid suspicions that would require them to remember his face.

I'm more inclined to think that they posted the pictures to try and fish them out...and like you said, it worked.

Tamerlan called his mother Thursday morning, just hours before his death in a shootout with police, and told her he had received a call from the FBI, she said.

“He would call me every day from America in the last days,” Zubeidat Tsarnaev said Sunday in a telephone interview with The Times from her home in the Russian republic of Dagestan. “During our last conversation on the morning [before the shootout], he was especially touching and tender and alarmed at the same time.”

Her son, she said, told her that he “got a private phone call” from the FBI. Agents told him that he was “under suspicion and should come see them.”
“ ‘If you need me, you will find me,’ he said, and hung up,” she recounted, beginning to sob. “You know the FBI followed him for several years, and when he got back from Dagestan last year, they called him and asked him what was the purpose of his visit to his homeland.”

So, it will be interesting to know if the wife, KRT, came home to an empty house and bombs and bomb components sitting everywhere. I wonder, did she eat dinner there with them that night? (4/15/2013)

AND, where was the toddler?

That's what I keep wondering too.

How can a man have radical beliefs, plan a massive terrorist bomb attack, have multiple firearms and bombs and hide it from the woman he lived with? From what we have seen these people aren't living in rural properties or big sprawling mansions where you could maybe hide some of this stuff.

Since TT did not appear to have a job or go to school how did he support himself?

The wife's parents are selling their home now. http://www.wcvb.com/news/local/metr...me/-/11971628/19844068/-/m5qk62z/-/index.html
That was quick.

At work so I can't look for them but, there will be videos of the perp coming out of the boat on ABC, CBS, NBC, etc... and some on youtube. This whole thing was going down live on t.v. for hours. The tarp on the boat was complete and not torn before the bot opened it.

DeLuca also offered new details on Tamerlan Tsarnaev's movements in the days after the bombings, saying the last day he was alive that "he was home" when his wife left for work. When asked whether anything seemed amiss to his wife following the bombings, DeLuca responded, "Not as far as I know." He said she learned her husband was a suspect in the bombings by seeing it on TV. He would not elaborate.

DeLuca said his client did not suspect her husband of anything, and that there was no reason for her to have suspected him. He said she had been working 70 to 80 hours, seven days a week as a home health care aide. While she was at work, her husband cared for their toddler daughter, DeLuca said.

"When this allegedly was going on, she was working, and had been working all week to support her family," he told the AP.

He said Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was off at college and she saw him "not at all" at the apartment they shared with her mother-in-law.

Sorry don't believe the wife at all. She and her 3-y.o. child lived in the squalor of an apartment with TT and she never saw DT and knew NOTHING was going on?

Didn't the FBI say that they found more bombs in that same apartment?

Also, her lawyer says TT's wife was at work all week, including Monday 4/15/2013. So who took care of their child while TT was bombing the Boston marathon?

Someone needs to ask DeLuca if Monday, 4/15/13 was a day off for the wife, and if not, who was watching the toddler?

One problem with the mother's story...

If the FBI knew where to call him then they knew where to find him. If they had his phone number they had his location.

Yes, I saw that picture. Call me naive, but I thought when you shoot yourself in the mouth, your face would no longer be intact. That's what I'm saying.

He has blood on his face. I believe it is alleged he put the gun in his mouth and pulled the trigger. In which case, why wouldn't his face be intact? The bullet went into the mouth and exited through the neck.

I also read somewhere (please don't ask me for a link) that it was thought that he put the gun in his mouth. And that is the way many people do it. Thus the majority of the damage would have been inside the throat and to the back of the neck.

But by doing it that way he would manage to miss the major arteries and veins in his neck as well as the voice box etc. I do wonder if he caught the spinal cord.
