TES and BH Padilla Returning To Orlando 11/8/08 To Continue Search

I am bumping this up for a question - sorry if it has been discussed in the last 24 hrs -

I thought I heard on NG last night that TES had pulled out of Orlando. Is that true? WTH is going on?

Yes they are now in NC

I think he is concentrating on other searches at the moment, but plans on coming back to search for Caylee.

Give it another week or so and the search will be back on. They've been gone since 8/30/08. Too much water to effectively search. Then we had more rain. Texas had a horrible hurricane that left the state with over 300 people missing. Tim came back into town to check out the terrain to see if the waters had receded, it rained every day he was here on and off, ALL DAY! Last I knew Equusearch was going to be pulling into town within 2 weeks, so that's another week from now. I'm sure we'll be one of the first to know.

I saw the same thing. The NG comments about TES being gone/out 10/16 was just talkin'-head stuff. The "gearing up for one of their largest searches ever" came directly from interview w/ Tim on NG 10/16 (date, IIRC).

Soooooo....I put my money on Tim's word.

FWIW...there's a Forum Search button/link on the middle right-hand side of the Caylee forum page. You can do an "Advanced Search" from there to enter words like "dress" and search for thread titles or individual posts that way. It can save you alot of time when you have a specific interest. The mechanics of the search are a little confusing at first, but, try it a few times and you'll get the hang of it.

Radio SM and LP....just listened to it--from last nights broadcast.
LP was recounting how he was at a convention (?) with other BHs and got several to agree to contribute money to tes so folks would know they were about more than just chasing down those who skip out.

"Texas EquuSearch will be returning to Florida in the very near future to continue our search for Caylee Anthony and Jennifer Kesse. Future dates will be scheduled and announcements made in local media and here on our website."

I just had a crazy thought on what all this back and forth regarding searching/not searching is about. Perhaps LE/TES know where the remains are. Perhaps LE has set up surveillance at the site to catch an accomplice who may return to visit or move the remains.

This might explain the publicity about the impending search. LE may have asked TES to be vague about their plans or delay their plans to give them a little more time to flush out the accomplice.

I don't know for sure, but I my guess is that they are still searching without TES on a small scale basis. If they get a tip which they deem credible, they would go out and take a look.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking too. Are LE doing any searches themselves? Do we know? Or maybe they are, and its not getting leaked to the media?
