AussieSheila, I hope you're still reading here but I haven't seen you and so I've sent you a PM. Your box is full.

Would a photographer carry a makeup brush? Possibly made of beaver hair?
Hi Eagle, I've emptied it.

Having done a search on duct tape while we're waiting for some new idea, I found that it does come in all colors now, even flourescent. And transparent. See Shurtape and Scotch ads. And that Australia has a different kind, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duct_tape

But did it at the time of the murders ?

I believe the tape was from a painting that was in the basement. Used by the framers to mount it . Might have been one of Patsy's that she was taking to Michigan . Also they suspect the ligatures were on it as a carrying sling thing.

Boulder area framers COULD do it that way I suppose, but in Michigan, and I suspect everywhere, framers never ever use any kind of tape, just metal tacks or, these days, clips, and carrying is done in a portfolio case unless the picture is wet, when you'd carry it by the wood stretcher strip the canvas is attached to. Probably this theory was just another long-shot rumor by non-artists.

Anyone in the Boulder area know if art business is done differently there? I could be wrong.
