The Anthony Backyard *REVISITED*

12" wide by 5" deep. That's it? How lazy...and I thought she researched shovels.

My Ames 48" roundpoint could dig that in two cuts easy, almost by itself. What kind of whimpy little girly-shovel did the neighbor lend her? A Stanley? :waitasec:

Ahhh...an Ames man, eh? An aficionado? It gets the job done right, first time around. :winko:

Then you should try using a Westcott ruler!!

(OK, I knew the answer before I posted that little barb)
Don't you have to pay for the Westcott plugs?

What with you having a financial interest (job) and all?

I think we can rest assured that most people know what 5 inches deep means. Can we please move past discussing the word "big"? This thread is reading really snarky and I'm not having fun reading post after post mocking me.

whoaa. hey, I didn't mean anything by it...

Bunny don't forget that some people are reading from the beginning and do not understand there was a little brainstoriming going on. That is why I wanted you to edit your opening post. But I went ahead and took care of it because it was important.

we see a lot of reinterpreting, misinterpreting, taking out of context, and general linguistic license used by media. Just a little twist will make something sound like a new dramatic bombshell.

ita!.

The good news is that very minor soil disruption, caused LE to take a closer look and although they found nothing at all at that spot, they did bring in Cadaver dogs and find "hits" in 3 other places, and they found other areas of interest to check.
All these spots are marked on the Floor plan in that thread.

I was going to constructively write about the nature of myth busting (in relation to the mythbuster sticky) but that thread does not allow discussion. There are issues with trying to bust myths and using media articles as a reference.

I think that is an outstanding subject for discussion, and would love to see your thoughts on the topic.

If you get going on it and I miss it somehow please give me a holler.

I just re-watched the video...your eyesight must be a lot better than mine because I didn't see any "substantial depressions"...just some vague pointing?

I just re-watched the video and I noticed Cindy refers to the hits by the dogs as being "inconclusive." But the LE officals call the hits "conclusive."
Is this another of Cindy's half truths? Never noticed that before.

?? The one that was 5 inches deep and 12 inches wide? Or a different one?

That would be great. Interesting too. Hope it would include difference between all the source close to the case leaks, media rumors/gossip and the LE released facts.

I think it would be a good thread.

Basically the size of the disturbance was this:
She stuck the shovel in, as far as her lazy butt could push, she tried to lift the dirt, realized she couldn't and figured that wrapping Caylee up in a plastic garbage bag and throwing her in the woods was easier!:steamed:

(bold above by me)

Well said. Some people DO see the forest.

Anytime I need a measurement done, or a fraction fractioned, other half has to do it. Sad, really.

Then you should try using a Westcott ruler!!

Melich gave evidence of the hits and certainly didn't say inconclusive, and Greta asked Carlos Padilla about it and he didn't agree. Did she say inconclusive or inconsistent?

A half truth, or perhaps a lie?

Independant dogs and handlers showed hits in same places. That means CONSISTENT to a normal person. LE checked the areas and showed "Negative results" that means they did not find a body. That does not mean the dogs were inconsistent or got it "wrong" It means the body was not there anymore.
Cindy is not a normal person she surmises the dogs were inconsistent.
