I've always thought Shirley & Rick would testify honestly.

After today's letters and emails, I am convinced that out of the immeidate family the ONLY glimmer of hope is George. And that one is very, very slim. But I would bet my first born it ain't gonna be Cindy or Lee. And we KNOW KC isn't gonna confess.

Rick is going to be fantastic on the stand. He is going to let everyone know about the wedding and Casey being 7 months pregnant and his stepson asking who the daddy is and Casey "smiling" at him. The fact that Cindy and George let Casey humiliate them in front of Cindy's brother is incredible. Casey humiliates Cindy, Cindy humiliates George and the circle continues. Casey was having her way even before Caylee was born. It boggles the mind that Cindy would let this continue at 7 months. George lies to the FBI saying Casey kept the pregnancy hiddent for two months from them. It was not acknowledged until she was 7 months.

I really thought that Casey was controlling Cindy with Caylee, but obviously she was doing it prior to and Cindy did not want to see it. And after the baby was born.....

Cindy knew she was pregnant - I think she wanted the baby; there is no other reason to keep quiet about it. None.

What an insane household.

When GA was describing KC to Police at the beginning of the case he said something like My daughter will always take things as far as they can possibly go- and then she will push it further. I expect the Defense to beg for a deal on the day the trial is set to open. She will have gone as far as she can go at that point.
She also lives in denial. She spent 7 months waiting for her pregnancy to go away before she could no longer sustain the lie that she had never had sex.

The only thing I disagree with here is that KC lives in denial. I think she is well aware of the lies she tells and continues to tell. I just don't go for that theory that people start to believe the lies they tell (unless they are delusional and hear voices, etc.) I think she knew she was pregnant and waited until the last minute. What interests me is why she did not abort, she was old enough? She could have stolen the money, as she usually did and got an abortion. If not in Florida, most certainly New York.

Apparently, she wanted the baby - I think it was another chance to be the center of attention.

i would LIKE GA or LA to be the ones to crack first, IF the whispers rumors of molesation are false. why not? kc sure threw them under the bus on that one, and if they really loved caylee, stand up for her, clear their name and lock kc away, throw the key as far as you can! but IF there is some truth to this horrid claim( gasp kc telling the truth on this) then as much as id hate to see/say it, they will stick to the bitter end...
again just my opinion.

My opinion and my opinion only is that no one will crack. But as always my opinion comes with qualifiers.

If GA and CA should happen to split before the trial, GA might crack. I do look for them to split after the trial.

If LA is accused of sex abuse in open court, he might crack. But that would probably be during the trial, not sure how that would affect the prosecution.

If GA and LA would get arrested for crimes related to the KC/Caylee case (say obstruction), and CA sees her family crumbling around her she just might crack. But that probably wouldn't happen until after the trial. Not sure but I think that if GA and LA both get accused of sex abuse in open court, it might shake her up a bit. But I don't think she would crack, unless she saw a split happening between her and LA.

I personally don't see any of them ever telling the truth. They have had over 2 years to tell the truth and still they haven't.....

The title of the thread should read, "Who, if anyone, might tell the truth." Cause I don't think any of them will be FIRST.

LOL that is where you and I disagree. I am beginning to believe that KC is delusional, at least after the fact. I am thinking that after Caylee died, that KC possibly suffered a psychotic break.

For instance the employment at Universal Studios, I think when she was telling her mother that she had events she knew it was a convenient lie. But after Caylee's death, I think that she developed this fantasy/belief in her own lie. The fact that she went to Universal with LE and wandered looking for her office, that really just makes me go..."huh."

The part about driving around with her dead baby in her car trunk just tells me that something wasn't right there. The odor kept getting stronger and she just kept driving around in the car. I think that might have contributed to the break. I mean you would remember every time you got into the car, and she is already searching around for a story to explain what happened to Caylee, and would get into the car and be reminded of what really happened and I think she began to crack and lose herself in her fantasy life. The one where it either didn't happen or happened in a way that she wasn't responsible for. The one where she was the victim, not the killer. The one where she had a good job, and a nanny to care for her child. She had money and was able to party. She had a boyfriend who cared for her. So she dumped not just her baby's body, she dumped the whole car. And she played house with the boyfriend. And she tried to tell police about her good job, and the terrible nanny that at first was just caring for her daughter. Then when forced to confront that her daughter was missing, she just had to accuse the nanny.

I agree.

This is all JMHO

At trial, I believe they will bend the truth, give half-truths all in an effort to save Casey from the DP. Will they Perjure themselves?..it's a possibility if it will save Casey from the DP.

Caylee is dead, she's gone, she's not coming back..they can't do anything to change that...

But Casey is alive and IMO they will do whatever it takes to keep her living...that is more important now. Top priority. Their mission is to save Casey from Death..

Whose truth are we talking about here? Because my truth is a whole lot different than Cindy's, George's, Lee's or Casey's "truth."

  • #189
Shirley P will tell the awesome truth to the best of her knowledge. Ooops she's not an A so I guess nobody will until they lie on their deathbeds bargaining feverishly with the God they claim to worship.

I voted George a while ago, but I now believe that none of them will ever tell the truth.

I really feel bad for the jury who are going to have to sift through all of their testimony when it is all said and done. Just to name a few off the top of my head...

Cindy says she DID NOT know that DC went out into the woods off of Suburban Drive in search of a deceased Caylee... Lee says Cindy DID know that DC went out there to search for a deceased Caylee.

George says he DID NOT put that tape on that gas can... Cindy says that George DID put that tape on the gas can.

They all answer questions with "You'll have to ask Lee. You'll have to ask my mom. You'll have to ask my dad. You'll have to ask my husband. You'll have to ask my wife. You'll have to ask Casey."

It's going to be interesting to say the least. I would love to hear what the jurors feel about their testimony once the trial is over. It would be an interview worth seeing. That's for sure.

But then how do you explain KC going out and renting two movies the night Caylee disappeared. One movie was about a kidnapping and duct tape. The other was about a body in the trunk. She just lies because she knows she can and we are still putting up with them. jmo

Why would a psychotic break only affect things that weren't fun for her?

This family can't accept the truth so I can't see anyone ever telling the truth.

It's not in their family dynamics to lead an uncomplicated life. I'm sure that's another story for another day - maybe after the trial (c-i-r-c-u-s)of the century is over. What a waste!

Thanks HF

A psychotic break is by definition a loss of all contact with reality. KC showed no signs of being out of touch with reality, no disordered thoughts,no hallucinations, no delusions, no extremes of behavior, she carried out all her daily activities and interacted with people perfectly normally. All her friends stated that she was her usual self and those who knew her best observed that she showed NO signs of anxiety or any concern regarding her child - or anything else. The only thing that appeared to upset her during the time period Caylee was 'missing' was when Tony teased her that he might be staying in New York...

I know that this is off topic... but the movie "Untraceable" that Casey rented on June 16th, 2008 is on FX right now! I've read the screenplay, but have never seen the movie until now. It started 20 minutes ago if anyone gets it.

Caylee will be the first to tell the truth.

Caylee will be the first to tell the truth.

God bless that sweet, innocent baby girl. Your simple post brought tears to my eyes, Eidetic.

In fact, she is already telling us the truth - through the evidence. Caylee didn't cover up anything.

  • #198
After reviewing depositions and interviews of the players again.....its no longer of question for me IF they'll lie.....IMO they'll all lie at trial....it's which of of their lies they'll repeat on the stand I'm curious to see - or maybe they'll surprise us with yet another rendition of what they did and know.

  • #199
I'm wondering what the status is of the friendship between GA and his LE friend from Ohio ,who was at the house when KC was first bailed out. He knows the truth and GA knows he knows the truth. If anyone could get GA to break,it would be his old friend.
IMO, that may be the only reason ANY of the Anthony's would tell the truth,so I'll vote George.

Yes, Caylee tells the truth. The rest don't know how.
