Ruth, I would like to say that I dont always agree with your viewpoint but I do find your posts to be balanced and if I may say, well thought out. I would have no problem if everyone here was the same.I find it really, really difficult to read some peoples posts on this page (and got given a thread TO because of my responses). The press do write negative press about royalty, but if there is something positive they also print it. They are a company making money selling news. What is saddening is the posters who criticise others as bullies merely for sharing that news article, or accuse individuals of being malicious, they may not have shared the article for either of those reasons.
Ps if anyone has Prince Harry’s and Meghans personal email, would you send them this link.

I wonder if George V ultimate decision not to extend refuge and sanctuary to his cousin Tsar Nicholas II and his family, and the tragic events that followed, influenced his decision to help the Greek royal family?

Thank you for that, yes I hadn’t seen any of that and perhaps explains a lot.I think you possibly missed the worst of it, Ruth. Threads #12 and #13 got deleted completely because of "vitriol" and "venom" (mods words) towards M&H. So, there's some back story that you may not have been aware of.
Anyway, as I keep saying, there are plenty of other royals to be chatting about!

So many royals, I agree (still not a tiara person, but I do like a ski slope story)
Meghan Markle's homeless brother says she should have spent more time looking after her family | Daily Mail Online
You can't pick your family. I wonder how much time Meghan has ever spent with this guy? Why doesn't he go live with Samantha, his full sister, or his Dad?
Ooo (Charlotte reminds me of a young Queen) but she does also favor her mother in these childhood pics.

“In 1970, he had warned about the problems of plastic waste, chemicals being discharged into rivers and air pollution caused by factories, cars and planes. This was regarded as 'completely potty', said the Prince.”
We've only got 10 years to save the planet, warns Prince Charles | Daily Mail Online
But the tweet referred to the Duke – who gave up his duties over the Jeffrey Epstein scandal – as Prince Andrew and not HRH, despite it having done so in 2018 and 2019.
