It seems some posters are hellbent on derailing the thread. The irony being Harry and Meghan are no longer senior royals, yet they're taking up 90% of the thread and completely detracting from the wonderful jobs and charity work that the Queen and rest of the family carry out.

Can't Harry and Meghan have their own thread, so those who wish to discuss nothing else can do so?

@Tricia
@sillybilly

Oh, I just saw this after I posted below. Maybe since YOU asked a separate thread can be made what with it being the thread you created and all.

Queen abdication fears: Prince William takes on 'high profile' roles from Monarch

Queen abdication fears: Prince William takes on 'high profile' roles from Monarch

I wish the newspapers would stop this because Her Majesty will never abdicate. She is the hardest working 93 year old on the planet. Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will take on more of Her Majesty’s roles as she gets older but she will be Queen till the end of her life.

I would love it if you would post some of what you see as the positive fun stuff this thread is missing however I do agree that the current news in the BRF is quite involved with Harry and Mehgan and people seem to be trying to be respectfully discussing it. I like both myself. One can always scroll and roll.
One can indeed. The problem is, this "one" is rolling and scrolling so much finding a post which is positive this one is becoming cyber sick :confused:

I"ve been suggesting it since the awful threads 12 and 13 were deleted.

Western Canada depends on oil jobs. They are a big producer of oil in the sandlands in Alberta

Well they say they care about the environment but yet they jet off every few weeks ..... they have the right to be criticized. JMO

Quote snipped by me.

This is another example of how they cant win.

The royal family is not all about tiaras and shoes though. If you need some light hearted fun away from the crime threads Google cute kittens or something

There's enough kittens and cats right here on these threads. Take a look at me-- I'm cute and I think I come from royalty.

Crown of Princess Blanche - Wikipedia

The Crown of Princess Blanche, also called the Palatine Crown or Bohemian Crown, is the oldest surviving royal crown known to have been in England, and probably dates to 1370–80.

Wouldn't this look stunning on Beatrice?!

I didn't read the article, but whenever there is something ridiculous, over the top, or probably based on 10% truth with 90% fiction I remember this picture

That is the most exquisite crown I've ever seen. Thanks for the heads up. :rolleyes:

Posting a picture of the crown from the link.

Yes, it’s a beautiful crown!

The Giant Panda cams always make me smile. :)

I wonder what the forums would have been like during Henry VIII time? Not much good news during that period of time!

It’s really kind of overwhelming how much bad press H&M are receiving. But it’s out there. The British press can be brutal. And the British public is very invested in the Monarchy. I can’t think of anyone in the USA who does a spirited public wedding like a royal wedding.

Her majesty has had to make some difficult calls with the unroyaling of H&M. I think things will calm down once these last commitments are over.

Bon Jovi brings a bright spot to Harry’s visit. And, it’s nice to see Harry having a good time, smiling, with his Invictus peeps.

The BRF has done a really good job of highlighting the other working royals. They have public relations down to a science.

Jumping off my own post... That is a unique name for a child.

Celebrities Valerie Bertinelli & Eddie Van Halen named their son Wolfgang:

Quite unusual in my circle!

And, I've invested many years as a preschool teacher and worked in a tuxedo&bridal store as an undergrad.

Cannot recommend a ring bearer under age 8 if you're actually trusting said ring bearer with the rings!

Princess Bea, thanks for honoring your intended & his son with this gutsy decision!

It might just be me, but does anyone else get the impression that the BRF (even less senior members) are going all out to be in the press and on Instagram as happy couples doing normal everyday things ATM??? Or is it a conspiracy by the press to make a point to H &M. I think it’s the former, but have a small doubt it could be the latter.

Eduardo's son is named Christopher Woolfe/Woolf, so Wolfie is just a nickname.
