It might just be me, but does anyone else get the impression that the BRF (even less senior members) are going all out to be in the press and on Instagram as happy couples doing normal everyday things ATM??? Or is it a conspiracy by the press to make a point to H &M. I think it’s the former, but have a small doubt it could be the latter.
I def dont think I've seen so many stories about the RF so consistently. I know Andrew has been included amongst them but it could be a spin maybe? Hiding that storyline amongst the flood of the others? I'm not at all sure Ruth, but reckon you could be on to something there.

I think the press are more interested in getting photos at the moment, but I think there is also, understandably, a bit of damage limitation going on at the same time.

Directly to a mod, or just in the thread? I meant directly to a mod.

The Queen displayed support for her grandson Prince Harry's latest project on Friday. The Duke of Sussex teamed up with Jon Bon Jovi as the US rock star recorded a special single with the Invictus Games choir at Abbey Road Studios in London.

The royal family's social media channels posted a video and behind-the-scenes of the guard change at Buckingham Palace. They tweeted: "Today the @ScotsGuardsBand played a special @BonJovi medley to celebrate his collaboration with @WeAreInvictus ! The Queen’s Guard handed over responsibility for protecting Buckingham Palace and St James’s Palace to the New Guard."

This is very sweet. Imo. I remember the ScotsGuardBand playing Aretha Franklin’s, Respect when she passed.

So a Bon Jovi medley for Harry and Invictus is a very thoughtful gesture.

And, I agree CoverMeCagney. The tabloidy newspapers especially are so image driven. And then some theory or story gets spun around an image. So, they are all kinds loaded for bear right now.

I also think the BRF has done a fantastic job of steadying a rocky boat while they work things out with H&M.

They have projected a unified front and confidence, maturity as they carry on with their jobs in public.

I love the work the Monarchy does. And I love how strong it is, too.

—jumping off your post, here... CMC

Imo- H&M will soon be untethered to figure out their own path. And that will take some time. As I look at how they’ve handled it so far, quite messy, I think it speaks to the struggles of Harry, duty, identity, desire to be his own man, love, marriage, kids, and overcoming some fears. A lot of people want the best for him.

The downside of being royal on the scale of the British Monarchy is it’s not easy when they make bad choices, or mistakes, or have certain struggles. It mirrors all our own issues.

Some of the articles, and especially the reactions in the comments feel like a giant ‘get it all off your chest’ group therapy session. And, I see just how much the public is invested in their royals, too. It’s part of a national identity.

I’m not sure the grass is greener on the other side of the pond, but it is different.

It might have more to do with Andrew than Harry and Meghan

Wow, I wonder when that pic of TQ and Harry was taken. His appearance in the lower photo has dramatically changed from the upper photo.

He looks tired;)

I seriously doubt the Queen wants her great-grandson traveling during a near-pandemic. I really can’t roll my eyes any harder at that headline.

Well I didn't see a poll, but several poster predicted this.

On to Sophie, Countess of Wessex!
