If it were me and I had a young baby I don't think I could volunteer like this - I would be afraid of bringing something home to the baby. This seems ill-advised IMO especially with the CDC stay home/stay safe - doesn't that apply to LA too?
My guess is we will see zoom video footage with the family “attending” or at least they will try to do this IMOEspecially for the first birthday! And of course the age and fragility of his great grandparents

I got married on March 31. We originally had 94 confirmed guests, but we cut our guest list down to immediate family only 10 days before the wedding. We planned for 94 people but only had 15. I wanna throw up when I think of all the money that we wasted on food, and plates, and alcohol, and tablecloths, etc. I hand painted 100 wooden skateboards to use as our place settings. It took me two hours to paint six of them. That's nearly 30 hours of time I'll never get back.
(We placed all of the skateboards on a stone fireplace in the reception area so they could be there in spirit.)

Many frontline staff and key workers making deliveries are faced with this dilemma every day. Is that not the case in LA? I think its fabulous to show such solidarity.
