They dont want to pay double taxes. Some articles state they are low on cash after paying back for Frogmore which must have had a deadline for them to pay. Some articles are saying they are building another home in the Cotswalds so perhaps they want 2 homes like PW has in the UK so they are not left out. Frogmore probaly will be empty for the majority of the time and they will only stay there a few wknds a year. What a waste. PB should have Frogmore.

Yes, but my point was did they actually request if the USA was willing to pay for security? I doubt it. I don’t think so. And, now it just looks like a mud sling fest in a mean tweet. It is embarrassing and illinformed. And don’t we have other things to do over here in the middle of a pandemic?

They said at the very beginning, when they made the statement that they wanted to leave Royal duties, that they didn't want to take taxpayer money after the change.

So I would have thought that the Queen or Charles would agree to pay security costs rather than having taxpayers of any country paying for that.

I can understand the Canadian and US government wanting to reassure their people that the charges won't be borne by them, but I doubt that was ever the hope or plan, and I think all the furore in the tabloids over it is an invention of the tabloids to use as clickbait. Nothing like getting people het up over a yellow headline for clickbait. JMO.

Me too. I think it would be lovely if one day, when all the virus stuff is over, to have a photo released by Clarence House of Charles, Harry, and Archie together.

But I sort of expect Harry and Meghan to not release many photos of Archie. They chose to not have a title for him for a reason, and I think that would have always meant not many public photos of him while he grows up.

With all the stories we have heard on how difficult it is to work for MM, it is not surprising they are having a difficult time finding people to be their security guards.

According to Mail Online, the trio were spotted driving through London to hand out care packages to workers at Hammersmith Hospital on two separate occasions. The deliveries reportedly contained a number of essentials for frontline staff battling the COVID-19 crisis, including toothpaste, soap, shower gel, hand wash, anti-bacterial wipes, dried pasta, pasta sauces, rice, cereal bars and tinned fruit. A source told the newspaper: "They wanted to do anything they could to help."
