Happy birthday to me! Sarah Ferguson...
Happy 60th Birthday to the Duchess of York.
Seriously? My posts are now getting deleted for NOT adding every link to every pic to provide necessary MSM link proving it's actually a pic of a member of the British Royal Family?

Kinda looks ridiculous & a total waste of my time but...
Here you go.

Happy 60th Birthday Fergie*!

"I really miss Diana. I loved her so much," says Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, about the Princess of Wales. "Diana was one of the quickest wits I knew; nobody made me laugh like her. But because we were like siblings—actually, we were fourth cousins and our mothers, who went to school together, were also best friends

 (FACT - Known due to Education)
Princess Diana & Sarah Ferguson were actually 4th cousins. Both descendants of William Cavendish, 4th Duke of Devonshire.
Both of their mothers had gone to school together & they'd known each other since they were children.

But anyway, (coz it's not like I've better things to do with my time  )

I think its good for men to be more open about their feelings etc. but Harry at a ceremony to honour sick children and their caregivers has made it about him again. Its a repeat of the Africa trip where he put out the statement and it distracted from everything else.

This is the one night to honour these selfless people, Harry seems very fragile emotionally atm and maybe should step away until hes able to do the job hes supposed to be doing.

I'm sure this is going to make me unpopular but I quite agree and this why I don't like him. He was addressing a room of parents who have lost children or who may be facing the prospect of losing their children, this was not about him.

That said, he doesn't look healthy to me, he is very thin. I might not be a fan of his but I do hope he is well.

ETA: a rumour is taking off that Catherine is pregnant as the Royal couple are travelling with a doctor which is not usual. I have to say, I would be very surprised if she is.

In Diana's footsteps: Kate Middleton wears the SAME traditional Chitrali hat as Himalayan dignitaries present Prince William with a book about his mother's 1991 visit during their historic Pakistan tour

Wonderful pictures of Will & Kate, and memories of Diana.

I have a Chitarli Hat that I got from the JPeterman Catalog back in the 90’s? It’s a mocha color and is one of the warmest most stylish winter hats I have.

I love this catalog for its old world illustrations and it’s nicely curated fashion from all over the world.

Oh boy, I would not do well if I was married to a guy who did this.

I have to agree. I know Harry is kind of all over the place and he’s a really good guy, but I cringed when it looked like he was about to fall over, and had to be propped up.

He just needed to stand tall and say I’m a Dad now, and I get it. There’s much strength in that. And then quickly bring the focus back to the cause.

The Queen is looking for a new butler for Buckingham Palace - but they will get paid less than the living wage.

The servant will get a salary of just £20,806-a-year for working seven days a week - which works out at £1,733-a-month, or £403-a-week.

But they will be expected to work a 45 hour week meaning the hourly rate is £8.96. The living wage in the capital - the rate which is high enough to maintain a normal standard of living - is £10.55.

Applicants for the role don't need to have any hospitality experience. The trainee butler will be expecting to look after guests to the royal residence from small functions to state banquets.

Queen offers butler job at Buckingham Palace for £8.96 an hour - £1.59 below the London living wage | Daily Mail Online

I've watched it again and it looks like he is laughing. Very strange episode...

A man is suing Buckingham Palace claiming his ancestors were rightful heirs to the throne - because his gran had an affair with King Edward VIII.

Francois Graftieaux, 73, who has twice requested a DNA sample from the Queen without success, says his family were cut from the Royal bloodline in the early 1900s following the alleged illicit tryst.

Makes me wonder a bit if Markle is pregnant again and he has just found out.

Every job they seem to advertise is paid terribly. I get that its a great stepping stone and I'm sure a Buckingham Palace trained butler can command quite a salary in years to come but its the same hypocrisy that they will meet with people struggling about mental health, open up food banks, talk to poor people who are struggling etc but at the same time not even take care of their own staff appropriately.

I realise that no one is being forced into these jobs and people are applying voluntarily but at the same time, they should lead by example. The Royals would think nothing of spending more than this persons whole salary on an evening dress for a night

I note how the Royal Visits of both William and Harry are homages to their mother and her prior visits to these areas.

Watched a documentary about when they found Richard III in the car park and the guy who's DNA they tested to make sure he was Richard III was a cabinet maker in London because none of the Royal Family is directly related to Richard III

DNA bit is from 52:40 but highly recommend the whole thing, its fascinating

I feel the same way the staff should get the London living wage at least. It would be awful to be surrounded by priceless items and vast wealth in palaces while working when you are struggling to make ends meet.
