Archie has that determined crawling baby look. —Like he may have motered up to the camera really fast. This age is such a great time as baby discovers the freedom of mobility.

I don’t think he particularly looks like Harry as a baby, but he does look like a combo of both parents.

And he’s definitely got the bow of Meghan’s upper lip.

“Fans have gone wild over baby Archie's resemblance to Meghan Markle following the unofficial release of the Sussexes' Christmas card.

The black and white picture sees Prince Harry, 35, Meghan, 38, and seven-month-old Archie beaming at the camera in front of a Christmas tree during their break in Canada.

And after the card surfaced late last night, followers were quick to point out how similar little Archie's eyes and chin are becoming to the Duchess of Sussex's features, noting their similarity as babies.

'Aw so lovely! Ok I really see baby Meghan in Archie here. Such a great Christmas card', one follower wrote.”

Archie looks a lot like his Mum when she was a baby. He looks like his Dad too. Christmas will be a special time for the Sussex family.

Andrew doesn’t have the skills or the energy to produce a Christmas card. He’s far too pompous to do something like this.

It has all the class and grace and sophistication of Sarah Ferguson. ( ie: None)

I would have thought Eugenie and Jack would have wanted their own, more appropriate Christmas card.

It certainly isn’t going to benefit public thought about Andrew.
I hope this doesn’t end up backfiring and negatively affect hapless Beatrice’s shrinking wedding.

It simply proves the adage, "Money does not equate class". Tasteful elegance, it isn't about being wealthy, well educated, or even royal! A picture of a dog butt for a Christmas card lacks any sort of sense.

Princess Diana had a quality "Je Ne Sais Quoi" esque..undefinable, but she was always classy. I can not see her ever sending anyone a picture of a dog's behind for a card. One picture I will always remember of her, is when she was wearing jeans, a white shirt, walking around Africa talking about land mines. That was so profound. And so important. She made a difference to so many people.

Just have to comment - the picture taken by Kate Middleton of her family is beautiful! The children change so much each year. It is nice to see a casual picture with Prince William kissing Prince Louis and the relaxed looks on the other two children’s faces.

5 UK Christmas Traditions That I, An American,Love, And 4 That I Simply Don't Get

Just spotted this: are crackers, advent calendars and pantomimes just a British thing?

The article is from BuzzFeed which is usually ridiculous

I'm sure Americans have lots of Christmas light decorations in major cities, I've seen them myself.

The following are common in Canada, which means it's not only a British thing :) :

Christmas Crackers- who can say no to wearing a tissue paper thin crown on one's head
family-at-dinner-table-wearing-party-hats-opening-christmas-crackers-picture-id200174886-001

(These are the kinds you get in the "nicer" crackers. )

Puddings are common among the older generation, most younger people don't know how to make them and they are not cheap to buy at bakeries. It's usually something that can be ordered in a restaurant during the holidays and can also be found as part of a Christmas day menu at hotel family dinner celebrations.

Boxing Day is as big as Christmas. People shop because things are on sale and it's a holiday.
Boxing-Day-2014-Best-Boxing-Day-Sales-Dec-26-450x253.png

(You see these signs everywhere until well into January. It used to be only one day of sales.)

People watch the Queen's Christmas message because she's the queen. People want to hear what she has to say.
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation airs her Christmas Day message on television and radio. So does the Prime Minister.

Advent Calendars are common in the Catholic, Anglican, and United Church. For others they have countdown to Christmas using material things like Star Wars figures, alcohol, makeup, chocolates, etc. Things related to commercial marketing.

In Minnesota we have the ugly Christmas sweater contests. Looks like Justin Trudeau may be a winner

“Wearing a fur coat and silk head scarf, the Queen was driven to her Norfolk estate this morning without her husband the Duke of Edinburgh, who was discharged from hospital in London yesterday.

The Earl of Wessex and his daughter Lady Louise Windsor also strolled into St Mary Magdalene Church together=.

Hundreds of well-wishers have been queuing since the early hours to catch a glimpse of members of the royal family.”

I used to buy the Advent Calendars in California - they were pretty hard to find though. Chocolates inside! Did not buy one here this year - I must have missed seeing them in the stores...

Here's some Christmas songs to listen to for you all today!

ETA I love the shot at the end of the video, where the 4 generations of current and future leadership are at the table.

Dang wish I had posted the link then.

Earlier this am I saw a DM article that had a pic of the royals standing/mingling at the door to the church, Beatrice was standing looking down at Charlotte as Kate walked by holding her hand. Beatrice had a look to kill on her face staring down at Charlotte.

Eta I have looked and looked for it since, they maybe got a call to remove it.

2. I'm sorry, but Christmas puddings are inedible.

5. "Father Christmas" is a better name than "Santa Claus"

Call him Father Christmas, not Santa Claus, says National Trust – because it's more British
The National Trust has insisted that Santa Claus should be known as "Father Christmas" in its hundreds of stately homes and historic buildings because the name is more British.

The Trust stepped in to settle an age-old dispute in families about what name to give St Nicholas, who for many is the personification of Christmas.

"Santa Claus", which originates from Dutch settlers in the US...

You've provided the first laugh of my day. Thank you :p.

I know what traditional Christmas pudding is and, I prefer to keep Canadians in the dark, allowing them to think it's actually salted caramel instead ;).

I agree with the National Trust. The name should always remain Father Christmas. Father Christmas is British tradition, no need to replace it with a commercialized American Coca-Cola inspired version.
