The green outfit is fabulous. Her stylist is really knocking it out of the park. Also, the photos of her playing cricket are super cute.

yes, she looks "down to earth" and great. I just wish the press would stop comparing everything she wears against what Princess Diana wore in the 80s and 90s. So unfair.

A nice break from tiara's. I love this!

Prince William and Kate Middleton leave Lahore on the final day of their Pakistan tour after an unscheduled overnight stay in the city when a terrifying electrical storm forced their plane to abandon its landing in Islamabad

I don’t know why the press have to keep comparing the Duchess of Cambridge to Princess Diana either @Sherwood Park and I also think it is unfair.

—Really love all of Kate’s outfits on this trip. She’s very photogenic.
I've really liked everything that shes worn (apart from the brown shirt outfit) in the context that shes worn them, it was very respectful to the hosts to dress in a local style. I do hope the clothes are given away or put to good use some how because the chances of them being reworn by KM are slim to none, there'll be a whole new wardrobe on another Pakistan tour.

The press stories seems to sell off of comparisons past and present. It does get tedious.
My most hated are when they do comparisons of people wearing the same colours or traditional costumes and being like its in homage, blah blah, no there are only so many colours or traditional costumes.

Meghan Markle Opens Up About Stress of Being a New Mom: 'Not Many People Have Asked If I'm Okay'

“Any woman, especially when they’re pregnant, you’re really vulnerable, and so that was made really challenging. And then when you have a newborn, you know. And especially as a woman, it’s a lot,” she said. “So you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed. It’s um…yeah. I guess, also thank you for asking because not many people have asked if I’m okay, but it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.”

Bradby asked if it “would be fair” to say that she’s “not really okay, as in it’s really been a struggle?” to which Meghan responds, “Yes.”

I'm literally speechless over this latest fiasco. What a disaster.

I'm withholding judgment if it was a good idea or not until I've seen the full documentary on their Africa trip but am I being unreasonable to think that its mixed messages to criticise press intrusion and yet also have a documentary crew with you filming when at times when they weren't at public events?

As I said before they both seem fragile and I think time away from everything would help. Meghan took 4 months maternity leave (she was for there a few events earlier if you count the Wimbledon appearances) and Harry took no paternity leave, in the UK the standard is 39 weeks paid maternity and the option to take a year with 13 weeks of those unpaid. Paternity leave is 2 weeks paid with the option to take more (I realise pay doesn't matter in this situation I'm just using it to show the standard)

I hope these are just vulnerable moments that the producers have edited out of the documentary and it doesn't reflect the mood of the whole trip behind the scenes. It seems like a form of emotional cutting or something if they continue in their current roles if its making them this unhappy.

If I was inviting them somewhere in the hopes that it would bring attention to my cause or business or whatever but knew that it was causing Harry to relive the worst parts of his Mothers life, I would feel really guilty.

I just wonder what Her Majesty thinks of it all it used to be the royals did not speak publicly about their emotions or show them.

Do you think the public will be more sympathetic to the Duchess of Sussex now? Or will it anger people who think she has an easier life because she is not a new mother who has to work full time to survive like most women are?

I definitely think the latter. I need to stop reading the articles and just look at the clothes because I find the two of them so unlikable.

I think it's great for the Sussex's to promote charity causes that are very personal to them.

However, I think it would be better if they would deal with their private issues in private with trusted friends or professionals and not expose themselves in public to the media.

Especially a media that is ravenous and relentless in their pursuit.

In a sense, both Harry and Markle are making it worse for themselves and doing exactly what got Diana into so much trouble- sharing private issues with tabloid media

I think most women who are Mothers will have been through the loss of identity that takes place when you become a Mother and will sympathise with to some extent despite her privilege in life.
While the life of a Royal probably is easier than most low and middle income earners, its more difficult I imagine than someone of equivalent wealth (aka super rich). I think most people sympathised with her family situation, I know I did until she had her friends speak out and reopen things. I'm not against her, I just wish she'd let things happen organically and stop trying to control everything written about her.

One of the most powerful things was when the Queen did show her emotions like when the children died in Wales, I saw the footage for the first time a few years ago and I think the fact that she didn't wear her heart on her sleeve usually and it was genuinely that she couldn't keep it in made it so moving but she didn't make it about her emotions even though you could see it on her face, it was all about the village still
In case anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about

This is nowhere close to the same situation as what we are seeing from M&H. If you ask me, it's all a PR stunt by their new agency which is backfiring and blowing up in their faces.

interesting tidbit

Royal representatives initially refused to reveal Lupo's name, until Kate shared the big secret with schoolchildren during a visit to a primary school in Oxford.

The couple are rarely seen without their pet, and he's caused such a stir, fans have even set up a twitter account for Lupo - @HRH_Lupo - to follow the royal puppy's every move.

He regularly appears in family photographs and has been credited with raising the profile of his breed in the UK by The Kennel Club.

I have a young friend who became a new mother. She has a masters in early childhood development. She also teaches at a preschool in one of the most prestigious in the US

She blogged about how incredibly difficult it was to have an infant. It was eye opening to her.

Having an infant is a whole new world. I commend Meghan for discussing it. It certainly makes others feel ok that they are not living the idealized imaginary world of motherhood.

Even with the help Meghan gets, it is not easy

With Fakebook out there and people posting their fabulous lives, it is good for the rest of us to see that not everyone has the picture perfect life.

Looks like MM is whining again. Yes, having a new baby is very stressful. Hey, she does not work full time, has nannies, cooks, house cleaners, etc. I guess her besties are not asking her how she feels. This is bad PR. Yes, MM, those of us that have children can relate to the stress of parenthood. Most of us don't have endless help either. I am so sick of their whining. Why cannot they just enjoy their newly renovated house and their new baby.

I wish I could be as good of a person as you. I just see it as whining - poor pitiful me. Glad you have an open heart.

It's like she alienates people on purpose so she can then prove her poor, pitiful me case. There has to be a psychological term for this behavior, but I don't know what it is.
